Thomas Allan (footballer, Born 1999)
Thomas David Allan (born 23 September 1999) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for club Gateshead. Newcastle loaned Allan to Accrington Stanley during the first part of the 2020–21 season, and then to Greenock Morton in August 2021, but was recalled in January 2022. He Joined Gateshead in June scoring on his 2nd game against Notts County with the game finishing 1-1. Then in September 2022 he joined Spennymoor Town on loan in a deal due to run to the New Year. Allan scored his first goal for the moors against Brackley Town resulting in a 2-1 Defeat. 2023–24 FA Trophy
The 2023–24 FA Trophy (known for sponsorship reasons as the 2023–24 Isuzu FA Trophy) is the 55th edition of the FA Trophy, an annual football competition for teams at levels 5–8 of the English football league system. Format and eligibility Applications to enter the 55th edition of the FA Trophy needed to be submitted by 1 April 2023. Competing clubs had to compete between step 1 and step 4 of the non-League pyramid, equivalent to levels 5 to 8 of the overall English football league system. Furthermore, grounds had to conform to grade 4 of the FA National Ground Grading. The calendar was announced by The Football Association on 1 July 2023. The Football Association Challenge Trophy, commonly known as the FA Trophy, is a men's football knockout cup competition run by and named after the English Football Association and competed for primarily by semi-professional teams. The competition was instigated in 1969 to cater to those non-league clubs that paid their players and were therefore not eligible to enter the FA Amateur Cup. Eligibility rules have changed over time, but from 2008 onwards the competition has been open to clubs playing in Steps 1–4 of the National League System, equivalent to tiers 5–8 of the overall English football league system.
