Thom Hoffman
Thomas Antonius Cornelis Ancion (born 3 March 1957), known by the pseudonym Thom Hoffman, is a Dutch actor and photographer.Note: parts of this article have been translated from the Dutch version of this page. Biography Hoffman acts mainly in serious roles, especially those of complicated characters. His film debut was '' Luger'' under director Theo van Gogh in 1982 and since then has played more than twenty roles in films and TV series. He calls himself "more of a hard worker than a good actor"; he never studied formally to become an actor. Since 1991 he has worked in photography, also without professional training. Hoffman married actress Giam Kwee on 30 July 2005. Wassenaar (; population: in ) is a municipality and town located in the province of South Holland, on the western coast of the Netherlands. ''Sintel'', code-named ''Project Durian'' during production, is a 2010 computer-animated fantasy short film. It was the third Blender "open movie". It was produced by Ton Roosendaal, chairman of the Blender Foundation, written by Esther Wouda, directed by Colin Levy, at the time an artist at Pixar and art direction by David Revoy, who is known for '' Pepper&Carrot'' an open source webcomic series. It was made at the Blender Institute, part of the Blender Foundation. The plot follows the character, Sintel, who is tracking down her pet Scales, a dragon. ''Black Book'' ( nl, Zwartboek) is a 2006 war drama thriller film co-written and directed by Paul Verhoeven, and starring Carice van Houten, Sebastian Koch, Thom Hoffman and Halina Reijn.
