This Time (Monika Linkytė And Vaidas Baumila Song)
Lithuania was represented at the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 with the song "This Time", written by Vytautas Bikus and Monika Liu, Monika Liubinaitė. The song was performed by Monika Linkytė and Vaidas Baumila. The Lithuanian broadcaster Lithuanian National Radio and Television (LRT) organised the national final ''"Eurovizijos" dainų konkurso nacionalinė atranka'' (Eurovision Song Contest national selection) in order to select the Lithuanian entry for the 2015 contest in Vienna, Austria. The national final took place over eight weeks and involved 12 artists and 12 songs competing in two different competitive streams. The results of each show were determined by the combination of votes from a jury panel and a public vote, and "This Time" performed by Monika Linkytė and Vaidas Baumila eventually emerged as the winner following the final. Monika Linkytė (; born 3 June 1992) is a Lithuanian singer and songwriter. She Lithuania in the Eurovision Song Contest 2015, represented Lithuania in the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 along with Vaidas Baumila with the song "This Time (Monika Linkytė & Vaidas Baumila song), This Time", placing 18th. Linas and Simona was a music duo that represented Lithuania in the Eurovision Song Contest 2004. With 26 points, they placed 16th in the semifinal and could not participate in the final. However, they befriended Ruslana, the winner of Eurovision 2004, and together recorded ''Fight for Love and Freedom''. The song was released in their album, ''I Love U'', on 22 July 2005. Gintaras Rinkevičius (born February 20, 1960) is a Lithuanian people, Lithuanian conductor, who was awarded the Lithuanian National Prize for Culture and Arts in 1994. In 1989 he founded the Lithuanian State Symphony Orchestra. Life and career Rinkevičius graduated from Lithuania's M. K. Jonas Gladnikoff (born 11 January 1985) is a Swedish songwriter and music producer. Born in Täby, he began songwriting at an early age. Later in life he moved to Åland in Finland before eventually moving to Stockholm. He has written several songs for singers from across Europe, but is best known for writing entries for the Eurovision Song Contest, the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, and for various national pre-selections. Amir Aly (born 21 July 1976) is a Swedish songwriter and record producer. He has worked with some of the foremost artists in Sweden, including Jill Johnson, Elena Paparizou, Danny Saucedo, Robin Stjernberg, Sanna Nielsen and Shirley Clamp. Henrik Szabo (born December 18, 1982, in Malmö, Sweden) is a Swedish leader of purpose driven organisations and a former songwriter. He is Secretary General of Stiftelsen Läxhjälpen since 2019 and member of the board of Kompis Sverige. Christina Schilling is a Danish songwriter, singer and musician. She has written songs for artists in Denmark, Sweden, Iceland, Ireland, Spain, Slovenia, Latvia, Lithuania and South Africa, and is part of the songwriting team Pixieland Productions. Neringa Siaudikyte (born 12 October) is a Lithuanian singer and songwriter. She is best known for appearances in The Voice and her songs Echo, Su Tavim and Thank You. Early life and education Siaudikyte was born in Kaunas in Lithuania. Her mother used to be a professional piano player. When Siaudikyte was 6 years old she joined a musical school and eventually began learning to play the piano. Amberlife
Amberlife (born Edgaras Lubys on 17 August 1983 in Klaipėda) is a popular Lithuanian musician and songwriter. He collaborated with the well-known Lithuanian production company Cactus which led to an international career. He released three albums and was known in Latvia, Russia and Scandinavia. A limited edition CD (3,000 copies), ''In Your Eyes'', was released in January 2004 with all of the songs from Amberlife's first album plus four versions of "In Your Eyes".
