''Everything Everywhere All at Once (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack)'' is the soundtrack album to the Everything Everywhere All at Once, 2022 film of the same name directed by Daniels (directors), the Daniels. The original score is composed by the band Son Lux. The album also features other musicians performing the tracks, including Mitski, David Byrne, André 3000, Randy Newman, Moses Sumney, Jane Lui, Surrija, and yMusic. The band worked on the soundtrack for around three to six years, with the band members individually working on sections following the Daniels' advice. Son Lux produced the soundtrack while working on their studio albums ''Brighter Wounds'' (2018), the ''Tomorrows'' trilogy (20202021), and its reprised studio version ''Tomorrows Reworks'' (2021). In the process, more than 100 musical cues were created for the album, with 49 songs included on the final release. Son Lux
Son Lux is an American experimental band. Originally the solo project and moniker of founding member Ryan Lott, the band's first three albums, '' At War with Walls & Mazes'', '' We Are Rising'' and '' Lanterns'', shaped the band's unique sound through post-rock and electronica influences. With the release of their fourth studio album, '' Bones'', in 2015, Rafiq Bhatia and Ian Chang joined Son Lux, transforming the project into a three-piece band. After the release of their EPs ''Stranger Forms'' and ''Remedy'', the band's fifth album, '' Brighter Wounds'', was released in February 2018. Jane Lui
Jane Wing-Chi Lui is an American singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist based in Southern California. Biography Lui grew up in Hong Kong and at the age of 12, she moved to the United States. Her musical influences include Tori Amos, Kate Bush, and Björk. She has opened for Jason Mraz, Jim Bianco, Kate Earl, Vienna Teng, Tom Brosseau, and others. In 2004, she started her solo career. Since then, she has released three albums. Lui voices Mother Tanaka in the 2012 animated short film, ''Hibakusha,'' alongside Karin Anna Cheung, Daisuke Suzuki, and William Frederick Knight. In 2019, Lui successfully crowdfunded her fourth album under the name SURRIJA. New tracks have now premiered on Earmilk and Audiofemme.
