Thiruvannamalai (film)
''Thiruvannamalai'' is a 2008 Indian Tamil-language masala film written and directed by Perarasu. It stars Arjun Sarja, Pooja Gandhi, Karunas, Sai Kumar and Vidharth. The music was composed by Srikanth Deva. The film was later dubbed in Hindi as ''Main Hoon Vinashak'' and in Telugu as ''Jai Sambasiva''. Plot Easwaran (Arjun Sarja) is an upright, honest youth who runs a local cable channel in Kumbakonam. He is known to fight for causes of the society and the common man. He enters into fisticuffs with local MLA Poongundran ( Sai Kumar) after he exposes his corrupt and greedy ways through his cable TV channel. Fearing trouble, his mother Alamelu ( Sudha) takes him to a saint in Thiruvannamalai. Guruji resembles Easwaran. A sequence of events forces them to swap places. Perarasu
Perarasu (born 8 January 1967) is an Indian film director who works primarily in Tamil film industry. As a director, he is best known for his commercial Tamil movies with actors Vijay and Bharath Srinivasan. He has also been credited as an actor, music director, singer and lyricist in some of his ventures. Personal life Perarasu, was born on 8 January 1967 in Natarasankottai in Sivaganga district, Tamil Nadu. Perarasu, married Shanthi at Nattarasankottai on June 11, 2000. A female child Viruthika was born to them in July 2001. When Shanthi conceived a second time, she was given abortion pills, she fell ill and was sent by Perarasu to her parents. Chitti Babu ( ta, சிட்டி பாபு; a.k.a. Sajjiah Adeebh, 10 January 1964 – 8 November 2013) was an Indian Tamil comedian, presenter and actor who prominently played supporting roles in Tamil cinema. Shankar Mahadevan (born 3 March 1967) is an Indian singer and composer who is part of the Shankar–Ehsaan–Loy trio that writes music for Indian films. ''Thenavattu'' () is a 2008 Indian Tamil-language action film written and directed by V. V. Kathir, starring Jiiva and Poonam Bajwa, whilst Ganja Karuppu, Ravi Kale, Shafi, Saikumar, and Rajan P. Dr. Periyar Dasan or Dr. Abdullah (born Seshachalam; 21 August 1949 – 19 August 2013) was an Indian scholar, professor, eminent speaker, and activist from Tamil Nadu.
