Thirumathi Selvam
''Thirumathi Selvam'' (Mrs. Selvam) is a 2007 Tamil television soap opera directed by S. Kumaran and produced by Radhika Srinivasan & B. Srinivasan for Vikatan Televistas. It Stars Sanjeev and Abitha in the lead roles with Rindhya, Gautami and Vadivukkarasi played supporting roles. It premiered on 5 November 2007 and initially aired weekday afternoons on Sun TV, before being moved to prime time on 17 November 2008. The serial ended on 22 March 2013 with 1360 episodes. Thirumathi Selvam is currently re-airing on Kalaignar TV at 09:00PM from 29 March 2021 onwards. The story revolved around the lead character Selvam and showed how his good qualities, hard work, and love for his wife Archana, and care for his best friend Nandhini, and how that made him reach great heights. Sanjeev Venkat
Sanjeev (born 28 September 1975) is an Indian film and television actor. He is most known for his role as Selvam in the Tamil drama serial on Sun TV titled ''Thirumathi Selvam'' (2007-2013) in which he starred opposite Abitha. The serial telecasted for almost 6 years with Sanjeev gaining huge recognition and appreciation. Sun Kudumbam Awards 2010
The Sun Kudumbam Viruthugal 2010 ( ta, சன் குடும்பம் விருதுகள் 2010) were given for 22 categories, of which there were 8 main awards, 8 performance awards and 6 technical awards. The nominations and victories were based on votes via text messaging. The award ceremony was hosted by actress Kasthuri and Rishi. Special guests who attended the function include Sneha, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Ramesh Khanna, Lawrence Raghavendra, Solomon Pappaiah, Sathyan, Arun Vijay, Manobala and Kaveri Maran, wife of Kalanidhi Maran. The Sun Kudumbam Awards is an awards ceremony held to honour the cast and crew of the television serials which air on Sun TV, presented by Sun Network. This is the first time in the Tamil Television industry where awards are given for performances in Television serials. The first awards ceremony happened in 2010 and it is a biennial award ceremony.
