Think Big (film)
''Think Big'' is a 1990 American adventure comedy film directed by Jon Turteltaub (in his directorial debut) and starring the "Barbarian Brothers" Peter and David Paul. Plot Rafe and Victor are two truckers who have had a bad run of luck. The film begins with the two rushing through traffic to get a pregnant woman to the hospital whilst avoiding a repo man after their truck. They then go their boss, who chastises the pair for yet another missed deadline. Their boss then says they have one final chance, from the company Tech Star which is scheduled to ship barrels of toxic waste to California. As a safeguard against the brothers' supposed incompetence, their boss installs a countdown time on their dashboard, a.k.a. "the foul-up clock", to remind them of the deadline. Victor and Rafe travel to Tech Star, which is a company that uses child geniuses as slave labor. Peter Paul (actor)
Peter Paul (born March 8, 1957) is a former American actor, producer, television personality and bodybuilder. He and his twin brother David Paul usually acted together in films and were together called "The Barbarian Brothers". They both appeared in supporting parts including the two-hour Season 3 premiere episode of ''Knight Rider'', "Knight of the Drones" before starring in several films including 1987's The Barbarians. Background and Entertainment Career Peter Paul and his fraternal twin, David Paul, were high school wrestlers and bodybuilders who opened a gym in Narragansett, Rhode Island in the 1970s. They were encouraged to move to California in 1979 to see if they could break into show business and have success attained by bodybuilders-turned-actors including Arnold Schwarzenegger and Lou Ferrigno. Jonathan Charles Turteltaub (born August 8, 1963) is an American film director and producer. Life and career Turteltaub was born on August 8, 1963 in New York City, one of two children born to comedy writer Saul Turteltaub (best known for his work on ''Sanford and Son'') and his wife, Shirley Steinberg. His parents are both Jewish. Turteltaub graduated from Wesleyan University and the USC School of Cinematic Arts. Darcy Lynn LaPier (born July 9, 1965) is an American former actress and model. Early life LaPier graduated from Portland State University. She also studied drama at the University of Oregon and Huntington Film Institute in Florida. Personal life She was first married, at the age of 19, to Larry Ray Robertson (from 1984 to 1993), but, whilst participating in a Hawaiian Tropic Beauty Pageant in 1985, she caught the eye of Ron Rice, Hawaiian Tropic's founder. Rafer Lewis Johnson (August 18, 1934 – December 2, 2020) was an American decathlete and film actor. He was the 1960 Olympic gold medalist in the decathlon, having won silver in 1956. He had previously won a gold in the 1955 Pan American Games. He was the USA team's flag bearer at the 1960 Olympics and lit the Olympic cauldron at the Los Angeles Games in 1984. In 1968, Johnson, football player Rosey Grier, and journalist George Plimpton tackled Sirhan Sirhan moments after he had fatally shot Robert F. Kennedy.
