There Lived Kozyavin (russian: Жил-был Козявин) is a 1966 Soviet animated short directed by Andrei Khrzhanovsky, written by Lazar Lagin and Gennady Shpalikov. Background Andrey Khrzhanovskij directed this film in a surrealist, constructivist world, which resembles paintings by Giorgio de Chirico. Plot An employee, called Kozyavin, receives an assignment from his boss to find another employee called Sidorov. Without any questions, he soon left the office to search for Sidorov. Encountering traffic, he walked instead through sewer. He then arrived a wall, which was destroyed soon by a construction machine. Andrei Khrzhanovsky
Andrei Yurievich Khrzhanovsky (russian: Андрей Юрьевич Хржано́вский; born 30 November 1939 in Moscow) is a Soviet and Russian animator, documentary filmmaker, writer and producer known for making art films. He is the father of director Ilya Khrzhanovsky. Married to philologist, editor and script doctor Maria Neyman. People's Artist of Russia (2011). Career He rose to prominence in the west with his 2009 picture '' Room and a Half'' starring Grigory Dityatkovsky, Sergei Yursky, Alisa Freindlich) about Joseph Brodsky. Veld ( or ), also spelled veldt, is a type of wide open rural landscape in :Southern Africa. Particularly, it is a flat area covered in grass or low scrub, especially in the countries of South Africa, Lesotho, Eswatini, Zimbabwe and Botswana. A certain sub-tropical woodland ecoregion of Southern Africa has been officially defined as the Bushveld by the World Wide Fund for Nature.
