Thephasadin Stadium
Thephasadin Stadium ( th, สนามเทพหัสดิน) is a multi-purpose stadium within the grounds of Thailand's National Stadium (Thailand), National Stadium in Bangkok's Pathum Wan District. It is currently used mostly for football (soccer), football matches. The stadium holds 6,378 spectators. History Thephasadin Stadium was constructed in 1965 for the use in 1966 Asian Games as the Hockey venue, hence its original name, Hockey Field. It was renamed in 1983 in memorial of Sanan Thephasadin na Ayutthaya, considered the Father of Thai Football. With its capacity of 6,378 seats, it was retired from being the hockey stadium. The stadium was used as the venue for the 19th World Boxing Association, WBA Junior bantamweight (115 lbs) world title defense of Khaosai Galaxy against Mexican challenger Armando Castro on December 22, 1991. The National Stadium of Thailand ( th, สนามกีฬาแห่งชาติ or กรีฑาสถานแห่งชาติ) is a sports complex located in Pathum Wan District, Bangkok. Founded in 1937 with the construction of Supachalasai Stadium (; ), its main venue, the complex has since expanded and now consists of multiple stadia and sporting facilities. Nong Chok Sport Stadium ( th, สนามกีฬาหนองจอก) is a stadium in Nong Chok, Bangkok, Thailand. It is situated in Nong Chok, the biggest and the least populated district of Bangkok. It is currently used mostly for the home games of BEC Tero Sasana FC in 2006 to 2009. The stadium holds 5,000 people. It located inside Nong Chok National Football Center. A unanimous decision (UD) is a winning criterion in several full-contact combat sports, such as boxing, kickboxing, Muay Thai, mixed martial arts and other sports involving striking and submission in which all three judges agree on which fighter won the match. In boxing, each of the three judges keep score (round by round) of which fighter they feel is winning (and losing). This only includes landed blows to the head or the body. In MMA, judges look for different criteria such as kicks, take downs, punches, knees, elbows, cage control, submission attempts and aggression. Khaosai Galaxy ( th, เขาทราย แกแล็คซี่, born, 15 May 1959) is a Thai former professional boxer who competed between 1980 and 1991. He was also a Muay Thai practitioner. He held the WBA super-flyweight title between November 1984 and December 1991. He is listed #19 on ''Ring'' Magazine's list of 100 greatest punchers of all time and named him the 43rd greatest fighter of the past 80 years in 2002. The 1966 Asian Games (), also known as the V Asiad, were a continental multi-sport event that was held from 9 to 20 December 1966, in Bangkok, Thailand. A total of 142 events in 16 sports were contested by athletes during the games. Taiwan and Israel returned to the Asian Games, reversing the decision taken by Indonesia in the previous Asiad to debar the two countries.
