Theodore Ssekikubo
Ssekikubo Theodore (born 20 August 1969) in Ssembabule, is a Ugandan politician. He represents Lwemiyaga County, Sembabule District in the Parliament of Uganda. Education At Makerere University, he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences, Master of Public Administration and Management and a Bachelor of Laws. At Law Development Centre, Kampala, he earned a Postgraduate diploma in Legal practice. Career Before joining politics, he worked in the Ministry of Defence as an assistant secretary in the administrative office. He worked as a lecturer at Ndejje University from 1998–1999. Lwemiyaga is a settlement in the Central Region of Uganda. The town is the site of the county headquarters. Jacob Oulanyah
Jacob L'Okori Oulanyah (23 March 1965 – 20 March 2022) was a Ugandan agricultural economist, lawyer, and politician, who served as the Speaker of the 11th Parliament of Uganda since 2021 until 2022. He was elected to that position on 24 May 2021, after defeating his tenacious rival the then incumbent Speaker Rebecca Alitwala Kadaga. He served as Deputy Speaker of the Ugandan parliament, from May 2011 until May 2021. Oulanyah was also the member of parliament representing the Omoro County constituency, Omoro District, Acholi sub-region, in the Uganda's Northern Region. Background and education Oulanyah was born in the then Gulu District, on 23 March 1965 to Nathan L'okori and Karen Atwon. Law Development Centre
The Law Development Centre (LDC) is an educational institution in Uganda for higher learning that offers various legal courses ranging from one month to one year. Overview The LDC is the only institution in Uganda that offers the Bar Course leading to the award of the post-graduate Diploma in Legal Practice. In the early 2000s, the LDC was plagued by a high failure rate among students, as high as 90 percent in some years. Ssembabule District
Sembabule District is a district in the Central Region of Uganda. The town of Sembabule is the site of the district headquarters. Other urban centers in the district include Lwemiyaga and Ntuusi.
