Theo Archibald
Theodore Valentine Archibald (born 5 March 1998) is a Scottish professional footballer who plays as a right winger for club Leyton Orient. Archibald is a product of the Celtic academy. Following two seasons with Brentford B, he began his senior career in earnest with Macclesfield Town in 2019. He subsequently played for Lincoln City, before transferring to Leyton Orient in 2022. Archibald was capped by Scotland at youth level. Club career Celtic A right winger, Archibald began his career in the academy at hometown club Celtic at a young age. 2016–17 Scottish Challenge Cup
The 2016–17 Scottish Challenge Cup, known as the IRN-BRU Cup due to sponsorship reasons, was the 26th season of the competition. The tournament took on a different format from previous seasons with a total of 54 teams participating. It was the first season with two clubs from both Northern Ireland and Wales competing alongside the 30 members of the 2016–17 Scottish Championship, 2016–17 Scottish League One and 2016–17 Scottish League Two, four teams from the 2016–17 Highland Football League and four from the 2016–17 Lowland Football League as well as the Under-20 teams of the teams competing in the 2016–17 Scottish Premiership. Celtic Park
Celtic Park is the home stadium of Celtic Football Club, in the Parkhead area of Glasgow, Scotland. Scottish League One
The Scottish League One, known as cinch League One for sponsorship reasons, is the third tier of the Scottish Professional Football League, the league competition for men's professional football clubs in Scotland. The Scottish League One was established in July 2013, after the Scottish Professional Football League was formed by a merger of the Scottish Premier League and Scottish Football League. Format Teams receive three points for a win and one point for a draw. No points are awarded for a loss. Teams are ranked by total points, then goal difference, and then goals scored. In sports, a loan involves a particular player being able to temporarily play for a club other than the one to which they are currently contracted. SPFL Development League
The SPFL Development League was the top level of youth football in Scotland, which was contested in various formats between 1998 and 2018. History A youth league was founded as the Scottish Premier under-18 League in 1998. Clubs fielded under-18 teams, with the Scottish Premier Reserve League originally being an under-21 league. The competition was changed in 2003 when it became the Scottish Premier under-19 League. The teams played 22 matches rather than 30. The 2015–16 SPFL Development League was the 18th season of the highest youth Scottish football league and the second season under the "Development League" format. 2016–17 UEFA Youth League
The 2016–17 UEFA Youth League was the fourth season of the UEFA Youth League, a European youth club football competition organised by UEFA.
