Themelios
''Themelios'' (Greek: ''Θεμέλιος'', i.e., ''foundation'' or ''keystone'') is a peer-reviewed international evangelical theological journal that expounds on the historic Christian faith. Its primary audience is theological students, pastors and scholars. It was formerly a print journal operated by RTSF/UCCF in the UK, and it became a digital journal operated by The Gospel Coalition in 2008. Also previously it was known as the Theological Students Fellowship (TSF) Bulletin from 1951 to 1957. While published in the United States, the writers are from many countries around the globe. Logos Bible Software is a digital library application developed by Faithlife Corporation. It is designed for electronic Bible study. In addition to basic eBook functionality, it includes extensive resource linking, note-taking functionality and linguistic analysis for study of the Bible - both in translation and in its Biblical languages, original languages. The Gospel Coalition (TGC) is "a fellowship of evangelical churches in the Reformed tradition". It was initiated in 2004 by D. A. Carson and Tim Keller, and subsequently launched in 2007. Carson and pastor Tim Keller, TGC describe their mission as being “deeply committed to renewing our faith in the gospel of Christ and to reforming our ministry practices to conform fully to the Scriptures.” The Gospel Coalition, Carson wrote in 2018, is "not a monolith; we are a coalition. Edward William Fudge (July 13, 1944 – November 25, 2017) was an American Christian theologian and lawyer, best known for his book ''The Fire That Consumes'' in which he argues for an annihilationist Biblical interpretation of Hell. Graeme L. Goldsworthy (born 7 September 1934) is an Australian evangelical Anglican theologian specialising in the Old Testament and Biblical theology. John Goldingay
John Edgar Goldingay (born 20 June 1942) is a British Old Testament scholar and translator and Anglican cleric. He is the David Allan Hubbard Professor Emeritus of Old Testament in the School of Theology of Fuller Theological Seminary in California. Education and career Goldingay obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) at the University of Oxford and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) at the University of Nottingham. He also has a Doctor of Divinity Lambeth degree. He was ordained a deacon in the Church of England in 1966 and a priest in 1967. Goldingay was a Professor of Old Testament and Hebrew at St John's College, Nottingham and served as Principal from 1988 to 1997. He went to Fuller Theological Seminary in 1997. Gregory Beale
Gregory Kimball Beale (born February 10, 1949, in Dallas, Texas; also known as G. K. Beale) is a biblical scholar, currently a Professor of New Testament and Biblical Theology at Reformed Theological Seminary in Dallas, Texas. He is an ordained minister in the Orthodox Presbyterian Church. He has made a number of contributions to conservative biblical hermeneutics, particularly in the area of the use of the Old Testament in the New Testament and is one of the most influential and prolific active New Testament scholars in the world. Karl Barth
Karl Barth (; ; – ) was a Swiss Reformed theologian. Barth is best known for his commentary '' The Epistle to the Romans'', his involvement in the Confessing Church, including his authorship (except for a single phrase) of the Barmen Declaration, and especially his unfinished multi-volume theological summa the '' Church Dogmatics'' (published between 1932 and 1967). Donald Fairbairn (born August 31, 1963) is a scholar specializing in patristic soteriology and Cyril of Alexandria who currently teaches at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. Education Fairbairn graduated summa cum laude from Princeton University with an A.B. in English literature. During his time at Princeton he was awarded the "Class of 1859 Prize" which was awarded to the student in the English department with the highest graduating GPA. He then began an M.Div program at Erskine Theological Seminary in Due West, South Carolina where he was awarded the Kenneth Fitzhugh Morris Award for excellence in Biblical studies. Alan Ralph Millard (1 December 1937 – 6 June 2024) was a British orientalist who was Rankin Professor of Hebrew and Ancient Semitic languages, and Honorary Senior Fellow (Ancient Near East), at the School of Archaeology, Classics and Egyptology (SACE) in the University of Liverpool.
