Theme Aquarium
is a simulation video game published by Electronic Arts Square, in which the player creates and controls a sea life aquarium. It was originally released on 17 December 1998 for PlayStation only in Japan. The game was later ported to Microsoft Windows under the name ''Aquarium'' and was released in Europe on 25 December 2000. Gameplay The gameplay is very similar to the other games in the ''Theme'' series, and the graphics are similar to ''Theme Hospital''. In ''Theme Aquarium'', the player begins with an expanse of empty floor space and the task is to construct a maritime attraction for visitors which must be filled with interesting and appropriate creatures at the same time as dealing with all the attendant challenges of running a profitable business. There are two ways of getting fish and other sea life, either by buying them off sellers or by catching them yourself. Tose (company)
() (also called Tose Software) is a Japanese video game development company based in Kyoto. It is mostly known for developing Nintendo's ''Game & Watch Gallery'' series, various ''Dragon Ball'' games, as well as other Nintendo products. Les Edgar
Les Edgar is an entrepreneur, known for being the co-founder and joint managing director of Bullfrog Productions, which he set up with Peter Molyneux. After Bullfrog's acquisition by Electronic Arts in 1995, Edgar became a vice president there. Edgar left Bullfrog in 1999, and eventually left the video gaming industry for the automotive industry, where he reintroduced Aston Martin to racing, and became chairman of TVR, which has, under his leadership, set up partnerships with Gordon Murray and Cosworth. Edgar has stated that he intends to return TVR to Le Mans 24 Hours. ''Zoo Tycoon'' is a business simulation game developed by Blue Fang Games and released by Microsoft. Although first released for Microsoft Windows and Macintosh in 2001, it was ported to the Nintendo DS in 2005. It was followed by two expansion packs, ''Dinosaur Digs'' and ''Marine Mania'', which were released in 2002, as well as a sequel, '' Zoo Tycoon 2'', released in 2004. This is a list of PlayStation (PS1) games digitally re-released on the PlayStation Store in Japan. These are the original games software emulated. Initially, downloadable PS1 titles were only available to play on PlayStation Portable (PSP). An update released in April 2007 enabled playing of these purchased PS1 titles on PlayStation 3 (PS3). Some titles can also be played on other PlayStation systems. PlayStation Vita (PSV) and PlayStation TV (PSTV) support the same titles as each other. ''Retro Gamer'' is a British magazine, published worldwide, covering retro video games. It was the first commercial magazine to be devoted entirely to the subject. Launched in January 2004 as a quarterly publication, ''Retro Gamer'' soon became a monthly.
