The Xindi
"The Xindi" is the 53rd episode of the American science fiction television series ''Star Trek: Enterprise'', the first episode of the third season. It first aired on September 10, 2003, on the UPN. The episode was written by executive producers Rick Berman and Brannon Braga, and directed by Allan Kroeker. Set in the 22nd century, the series follows the adventures of the first Starfleet starship ''Enterprise'', registration NX-01. Beginning with this episode, season three of ''Enterprise'' features an ongoing storyline following an attack on Earth by previously unknown aliens called the Xindi at the end of season two. In this episode, the crew of the ''Enterprise'' attempt to track down the location of the Xindi homeworld by asking a lone Xindi enslaved in a mining colony. Connor Wyatt Trinneer (born March 19, 1969) is an American film, stage, and television actor. He is best known for his roles as Charles "Trip" Tucker III on ''Star Trek: Enterprise'', Michael on the series ''Stargate Atlantis'', and Professor Moynihan on the web series ''Guilty Party'' Japan. Charles "Trip" Tucker III, portrayed by Connor Trinneer, is a fictional character in the television series ''Star Trek: Enterprise''. ''Enterprise NX-01'' is a fictional spaceship that appears in the American science fiction television series ''Star Trek: Enterprise''. It had the in-universe registration of NX-01 and appeared earlier in the franchise timeline than any other Starfleet ship named ''Enterprise''. The ship is first seen in the pilot episode " Broken Bow" and was seen throughout the series undergoing various upgrades.
