''The Wild West'' is compilation presented by Vallejo, California rapper, Celly Cel. The album was released in 2006 for Real Talk Ent. and was the third of four projects released by Celly Cel in 2006. This compilation features some of West Coast Rap's biggest names. Celly Cel
Marcellus James McCarver, better known by his stage name Celly Cel, is an American rapper from Vallejo, California. He released his first single, "Lifestyle of a Mack", on his independent record label Realside Records in 1992. He released his debut studio album, '' Heat 4 Yo Azz'', in 1994, and released a second album, ''Killa Kali'', two years later. In 1996, he appeared on the Red Hot Organization's compilation CD, America is Dying Slowly, alongside Biz Markie, Wu-Tang Clan, and Fat Joe, among many other prominent hip hop artists. The CD, meant to raise awareness of the AIDS epidemic among African American men, was heralded as "a masterpiece" by The Source magazine. Bad Azz (rapper)
Jamarr Antonio Stamps (November 27, 1975 – November 11, 2019), better known by his stage name Bad Azz, was an American rapper and member of Tha Dogg Pound Gangsta Crips. Life and career Jamarr Antonio Stamps was born in Hawaiian Gardens, California, and grew up in Long Beach. He began his career rapping at house parties and joined the LBC Crew. After having a guest verse on the Tupac song "Krazy" in 1996 he was set to sign to Tupac's proposed record label, Makaveli Records. After being briefly signed to Snoop Dogg's label Doggystyle Records, Bad Azz made various guest performances before debuting on Priority Records in 1998 with '' Word on tha Streets''. Delmar Drew Arnaud (born May 25, 1973), known professionally as Daz Dillinger (formerly Dat Nigga Daz and commonly Daz), is an American rapper and record producer. In the 1990s at Death Row Records, aided the catapult of West Coast rap and gangsta rap into the mainstream. He is one half of the rap duo tha Dogg Pound, along with Kurupt. Daz learned production from Dr. Dre in working on Dre's debut solo album, ''The Chronic'', in 1992. Daz did more on Snoop Dogg's debut solo album ''Doggystyle'' in 1993, and secured his production standing on 2Pac's ''All Eyez on Me'' in 1996. Sean Miguel Thompson, better known by his stage name Sean T, is an American rapper and record producer from East Palo Alto, California. Throughout his career both as a rapper and a producer, he has released seven solo albums, two albums with his group Murder One Gangstas and has worked with some of California's top rappers, including E-40, C-Bo, and 3X Krazy. Too Short
Todd Anthony Shaw (born April 28, 1966), better known by the stage name Too Short (stylized as Too $hort), is an American rapper and record producer. He became famous in the West Coast hip hop scene in the late 1980s, with lyrics often based on pimping and promiscuity, but also drug culture and street survival. This is respectively exemplified in his most popular songs "Blow the Whistle" and " The Ghetto". A pioneer of West Coast rap, Shaw began recording in 1983, cultivating a large following in his native Oakland. Charles Kente Williams (Birth name, né Bowens; born October 21, 1977), better known by his stage name Keak da Sneak, is an American rapper from Oakland, California, Oakland, California, known for his scratchy, gruff voice and for coining the term ''hyphy'' in 1994. He is a founding member of the rap group The Click, and the founder of Sick Wid It Records.
