The Way To Paradise (film)
''The Way to Paradise'' () is a 1970 Croatian film directed by Mario Fanelli and written by Miroslav Krleža, starring Boris Buzančić and Ljuba Tadić. Krleža based the script on his own novellas ''The Cricket under a Waterfall'' and ''The Finale''. It was the first film adaptation of his literary work, and the only one he was personally involved with. Plot A man dies and goes to heaven, escaping the predicament of the modern civilisation. However, once there, he encounters similar people and situations. is a character (arts), character created by Japanese video game designer Shigeru Miyamoto. He is the title character of the ''Mario (franchise), Mario'' franchise and the mascot of Japanese video game company Nintendo. Mario has appeared in List of video games featuring Mario, over 200 video games since his creation. Zvonko Lepetić
Zvonimir "Zvonko" Lepetić (17 November 1928 – 4 January 1991) was one of the leading character actors of Croatian and Yugoslav cinema and television. Lepetić was born in Berane, Montenegro. Since 1939, he lived in Sarajevo, where he graduated from gymnasium and was later enrolled at the Drama Studio (''Dramski studio''). In 1953 he joined the Sarajevo National Theatre. After short acting stints in Buje, Šibenik and Zadar, in 1963 Lepetić joined the Croatian National Theatre in Split, where he stayed until 1968 and his move to Zagreb. Lepetić's earliest film role was in Fadil Hadžić's '' Konjuh planinom'' (1966), but his first prominent film performances were in ''The Pine Tree in the Mountain'' (1971) and '' A Performance of Hamlet in the Village of Mrdusa Donja'' (1973). Pula Film Festival ( hr, Pulski filmski festival) is an annual Croatian film festival, established in 1954. It is held in a Roman amphitheater known as the Pula Arena. Pula Film Festival is the oldest Croatian film festival and is usually held in the summer, in July or August. Apart from film screenings open to the public, the annual Croatian film industry awards are also traditionally presented at the festival. The awards presented at the festival (called Golden Arenas) are the main national film awards in the country, and they serve as the Croatian equivalent of the American Academy Awards. Ivo Škrabalo
Ivo Škrabalo (; 19 February 1934 – 18 September 2011) was a Croatian film critic, screenwriter, and member of parliament. Škrabalo was born in Sombor, where he finished elementary and high school before moving to Zagreb in 1952. He enrolled at the University of Zagreb's Faculty of Law and earned an MSc in international law, with a doctoral thesis on the creation of Bangladesh. He also studied at the Zagreb Academy of Dramatic Art and graduated from its film directing department. Škrabalo then worked as a dramaturge at Zagreb-based film studios Zagreb Film (1958–1962) and Jadran Film (1964–1967) and was later hired as an advisor at Croatia Film in the late 1960s.
