The Voice Van Vlaanderen (season 3)
''The Voice van Vlaanderen'' is a Belgian reality talent show. The third season of the Flemish version premiered on 7 February 2014 on the vtm television network. The season's finale was on 23 May 2014 Only one of the four coaches for seasons 1 and 2 Koen Wauters remained this season. The other three judges for seasons 1 and 2, Alex Callier, Jasper Steverlinck (winning coach of both seasons) and Natalia Druyts were replaced by Belgian DJ and record producer Regi Penxten, singer Axelle Red and musician, singer and songwriter Bent Van Looy. The title was won by Tom De Man from Team Bent Van Looy. The Voice Van Vlaanderen
''The Voice van Vlaanderen'' (; English-Dutch for ''The Voice of Flanders'') is a Belgian reality singing competition for the Flemish part of Belgium. It is part of the franchise that started in the Netherlands as ''The Voice of Holland''. It kicked off on November 25, 2011 on VTM, shortly before the francophone Belgian variant ''The Voice Belgique'' went on air. As of 2022, the show has aired for eight seasons. One of the important premises of the show is the quality of the singing talent. Four coaches, themselves popular performing artists, train the talents in their group and occasionally perform with them. Talents are selected in blind auditions, where the coaches cannot see, but only hear the auditioner. VTM or Vlaamse Televisie Maatschappij (English: ''Flemish Television Company'') is the main commercial television station in Flanders (the Dutch-speaking northern region of Belgium) and forms part of a network of channels owned by DPG Media (formerly Medialaan). Koen Maria Gaston Wauters (born 17 September 1967) is a Flemish singer, active with the band Clouseau, television presenter, and occasionally actor and race car driver. Biography Koen Wauters was born in Halle in 1967. Together with his three brothers and two sisters he spent his youth in Sint-Genesius-Rode. In his youth, Koen Wauters was a keen footballer, but all dreams of a possible pro career ended when he suffered from repeated knee injuries. Regi Penxten (born Reginald Paul Stefan Penxten on 4 March 1976) is a Belgian DJ and record producer, of many eurodance and trance projects in Belgium, including Milk Inc. and Sylver. Better known by his mononym Regi, he has released three solo albums, which all reached the top ten of the Belgian album charts: ''Best Of'' (2005), ''Registrated'' (2007) and ''Registrated 2'' (2010). Bent Van Looy (born 3 May 1976) is a Belgian-Flemish musician, singer and songwriter. He has been the frontman and singer for Das Pop, the Belgian band he founded in Ghent in 1994 together with schoolfriends Reinhard Vanbergen, Niek Meul and Lieven Moors. He was also the drummer of Soulwax, a project of the Dewaele brothers. Van Looy recorded solo albums, presented on TV and radio, and is a painter. Emma Lauwers (born 1 October 1993), known as Lea Rue, is a Belgian singer-songwriter and entrepreneur. Emma Lauwers surprised friend and foe during The Voice van Vlaanderen (The Voice of Flanders).
