''The Voice of Germany (season 1)'' is a German reality talent show that premiered on 24 November 2011 on ProSieben and Sat.1. Based on the reality singing competition '' The Voice of Holland'', the series was created by Dutch television producer John de Mol. It is part of an international series. Development, production and marketing In April 2011, ProSieben announced its intention to bring an adaptation of ''The Voice of Holland'' to the Germany. In July 2011, ProSieben began announcements of the coaches/judges for the series. First to sign on were Nena and Xavier Naidoo. Rea Garvey and "Boss Burns" (Alec Völkel) & "Hoss Power" (Sascha Vollmer) came on board in late August 2011. Stefan Gödde is the show's host. Doris Golpashin is hosting backstage special for the official website. Season 1 premiered on ProSieben on 24 November 2011. RTL took on a ratings fight when they programmed their successful talent show '' Das Supertalent'' against newcomer ''The Voice of Germany''. ...

Stefan Gödde
Stefan Gödde (born 12 December 1975) is a German television presenter, radio presenter and reporter. Biography Gödde grew up in Rüthen ( Soest). There he attended the Friedrich-Spee-School and completed his Zivildienst. After his Abitur in 1995, he studied German studies and English studies at the University of Paderborn and on the Aston University in Birmingham. His first state exam on teaching in Secondary I and II, he finished in December 2001. His television career began in August 2002 as Dominik Bachmair's successor as host of the business magazine show ''BIZZ'' on ProSieben. He then co-hosted the tabloid magazine show ''taff'' with Annemarie Carpendale from 2005 to 2009. Sharron Levy
Sharron Levy ( he, שרון לוי; born 17 November 1977) is a singer-songwriter originally from Israel. In 2011 she reached the semi-finals of the German television show The Voice of Germany. Originally she was established as a rock singer in the band ''Super Massive Object'' and later in ''Captive Audio''. Early life Sharron Levy was born in Haifa in Israel and grew up in Tel Aviv. At the age of nine she relocated with her mother and brother to London, England. After attending a Jewish primary school in London, she went on to a Jewish boarding school Carmel College in Oxfordshire where she stayed until the age of sixteen.
