The Voice (American Season 9)
The ninth season of the American reality talent show ''The Voice'' premiered on September 21, 2015 on NBC. Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, and Pharrell Williams returned as coaches for the season. Gwen Stefani returned after a one-season absence. Carson Daly continued as host. The season introduced a "Coach Comeback" where each coach bring back one artist from the Battle or Knockout rounds to perform again in the Live Playoffs, and single elimination rounds during the Live Shows (except for the Semifinals). Jordan Smith was named winner of the season, marking Adam Levine's third and final win as a coach. Coaches Adam Levine and Blake Shelton returned for their ninth season as coaches; Pharrell Williams, his third; and Gwen Stefani, her second season, after a season hiatus. Carson Jones Daly (born June 22, 1973) is an American television host, radio personality, Television producer, producer, and celebrity, television personality. Prior to 2003, Daly was a VJ (media personality), VJ on MTV's ''Total Request Live'', and a DJ for the Southern California-based radio station KROQ-FM, 106.7 KROQ-FM. Keith Semple
Keith Semple (born 20 September 1981) is a Northern Irish singer and musician. He originally had his own band Keith Semple Band. In 2002, he took part and was a winner in ''Popstars: The Rivals'', consequently becoming a member of the boyband One True Voice (OTV). After the split-up of the band, Semple had a solo career before joining the Chicago-based rock band 7th Heaven (band), 7th Heaven in 2006 as their lead singer. In 2010, he took a shot at the American Idol (season 9), ninth season of ''American Idol'' but lost his "golden ticket" place due to his legal status and residency considerations. In October 2012, Semple announced he would be leaving 7th Heaven to pursue his original music and announced the formation of his new band, SEMPLE. Tyler Dickerson (born 1993 in Hattiesburg, Mississippi) is an American country music artist signed to Lyric Street Records. He released his debut single, "Tell Your Sister I'm Single," to radio in early 2010. Biography Tyler Dickerson was born in Hattiesburg, Mississippi to Steven and Crystal Dickerson.
