The Visitors (1988 Film)
''The Visitors'' ( sv, Besökarna) is a 1988 Swedish horror film directed by Joakim Ersgård. Plot Frank, Sara and their two children have recently moved into the house of their dreams on the Swedish countryside. Frank is disturbed by mysterious sounds and something tears down the wallpaper from the walls. He contacts a ghost-hunter, Allan. While conducting an experiment, Allan is killed, and Frank has to find out the truth himself. What's so special with the mysterious room in the attic? Joakim Ersgård
Joakim or Joacim is a male given name primarily used in Scandinavian languages and Finnish. It is derived from a transliteration of the Hebrew יהוֹיָקִים, and literally means "lifted by Jehovah". In the Old Testament, Jehoiakim was a king of Judah. In deutero-canonical texts, Joakim is the husband of Susanna, the central character in the narrative of Susanna (Daniel 13), and the high priest who leads the people of Israel in prayer in the Book of Judith. Kjell Bergqvist
Kjell Bertil Leonard Bergqvist (born 23 February 1953 in Enskede, Stockholm County) is a Swedish actor. Bergqvist finished the Royal Dramatic Training Academy in 1973 and made his debut in '' En enkel melodi'' and ''Jack''. He has since cooperated for many years with scriptwriter and director Ulf Malmros. During the 1990s he has recorded several police films playing Martin Beck's colleague Lennart Kollberg. He played two different characters in the Swedish horror television series Chock in 1997. In 2001, he got a Guldbagge Award for his lead role in '' Den bästa sommaren'' and in 2002 he was nominated for the lead role Leif in ''Leva livet''. Kjell was for a time married to Miss Universe 1984 winner Yvonne Ryding (Yvonne Ryding-Bergqvist; today they are divorced). He starred in Avicii's music video Silhouettes, as the doctor.
