The Visitor (band)
Visitor (band) is a UK-based electronic music group, formed in London in late 2009. Its two founding members, Kyle Gibson and Lucas Gianello, were born in Australia and met at high school, where they formed their first band, one of many leading up to the creation of Visitor. Visitor's debut single, "Los Feeling", was released by Vulture Music in 2010 headed up by Alan Braxe. The duo have maintained a working relationship with the producer Diamond Cut, who having remixed an earlier song created by the duo, effectively serves as a silent member of the group. Sound Visitor's sound can be described as 1980s-influenced, with descriptions from journalists such Pop Justice as sounding like the missing link between The Killers and The Pet Shop Boys. Vulture Music
A vulture is a bird of prey that scavenges on carrion. There are 23 extant species of vulture (including Condors). Alan Braxe
Alain Quême (), professionally known as Alan Braxe (born 9 July 1971), is a French electronic music artist. Braxe is most widely known for his collaborative work with electronic bassist Fred Falke and Kris Menace, and for being part of the musical trio Stardust. In 2005, he released '' The Upper Cuts'', a collection of his previous released material. He is the cousin of French electronic musician DJ Falcon. Biography Alan Braxe started playing the clarinet and cello at an early age. In the late 1980s, he became a DJ in Paris. He started producing his own dance music using only a mixer, a compressor, and an Emu SP1200. Popjustice is a music website founded in 2000 by UK freelance music journalist Peter Robinson, who has worked for '' NME'', '' The Guardian'', '' Attitude'' and many others. It is composed of the work of editor Robinson, features editor Michael Cragg, and a host of contributors. The website seeks to celebrate commercial popular music and does this using humour, user interaction, and contacts within the music industry. Its writing style has been compared favourably by a number of critics to that of the now defunct ''Smash Hits'' magazine, in that it mixes a passion for pop music with a surreal and biting wit.
