''The Virgins'' is the first full-length album by The Virgins. It was released June 3, 2008. Many songs on the album were originally from their EP, '' The Virgins '07''. "Private Affair" was chosen as the first single for the album. The song "Hey Hey Girl" was used in the trailer for the movie '' Miss March,'' while the song "Rich Girls" was used in the movie '' 17 Again'', in the trailer for ''She's Out of My League'', an episode of ''Castle (Ghosts) ''and in a Rugby Ralph Lauren fall 2010 promotional lifestyle film. The songs "One Week of Danger", "Rich Girls", "Fernando Pando", "Radio Christiane", and "Love is Colder Than Death" were also used in the TV show ''Gossip Girl'' in the episode "Seventeen Candles". The Virgins
The Virgins were an American indie rock band formed in 2006 in New York City. The band split up in November 2013. History 2006–2007: Formation Frontman Donald Cumming began writing music by himself in his New York apartment. He then recruited friends to fill out the band. Almost immediately they made a five-song EP titled '' The Virgins '07'', compiled of the band's early recordings, and songs Donald had already recorded himself. Upon completion, Cumming passed out the EP to friends and DJs causing the music to pervade the New York club scene. Soon after, the demo came across Atlantic Records who signed Cumming before the band was fully formed. Rugby Ralph Lauren was an American clothing brand launched in 2004 under the management of parent company Polo Ralph Lauren, the line has been retired. The brand specialised in Preppy/Rugby inspired lifestyle apparel for male and female clientele ages 16 through 25.
