''The Very Best of Bonnie Tyler'' is a compilation album by Welsh singer Bonnie Tyler, released on 19 January 1993 by Columbia Records. ''The Very Best of Bonnie Tyler'' peaked at no. 3 in Germany, where it became one of the best-selling albums of the year. It was nominated for Best CD of 1993 in the Female Singers' category at the Bravo Otto Awards, coming in 8th place. Due to its commercial success in Europe, Columbia released a second volume in 1994. Dean Pitchford (born July 29, 1951) is an American songwriter, screenwriter, director, actor, and novelist. His work has earned him an Oscar and a Golden Globe Award, as well as nominations for three additional Oscars, two more Golden Globes, eight Grammy Awards, and two Tony Awards. Clyde Lovern Otis (September 11, 1924 – January 8, 2008), was an American songwriter and record producer, best known for his collaboration with singer Brook Benton, and for being one of the first African-American A&R executives at a major label.
