''The Twits'' is the fourth studio album by British alternative rock band Bar Italia, released on 3 November 2023 through Matador Records. It is their second album of 2023, following '' Tracey Denim''. The album received positive reviews from critics. The album title comes named after the Roald Dahl's book of the same name. Bar Italia (band)
Bar Italia, stylized bar italia, are a British indie rock band formed in London in 2019. The band consists of members Nina Cristante (vocals), Sam Fenton (vocals, guitar), and Jezmi Tarik Fehmi (vocals, guitar). Their name is derived from the Soho café Bar Italia. Biography From 2020 onwards, the band released two albums, one EP and multiple singles through World Music, the record label founded by London musicians Dean Blunt and Inga Copeland. They were noted as a "new act to watch" by ''The Face'' magazine and the number one "rising star to look out for in 2023" by ''The Times''. ''Pitchfork'' (formerly ''Pitchfork Media'') is an American online music publication (currently owned by Condé Nast) that was launched in 1995 by writer Ryan Schreiber as an independent music blog. Schreiber started Pitchfork while working at a record store in suburban Minneapolis, and the website earned a reputation for its extensive coverage of indie rock music. It has since expanded and covers all kinds of music, including pop. Pitchfork was sold to Condé Nast in 2015, although Schreiber remained its editor-in-chief until he left the website in 2019. Marta Salogni
Marta Salogni is an Italian record producer, mixer and recording engineer. Salogni's musical background was cultivated in her native Italy between the small towns of Capriolo and Brescia, where she spent her formative years, collaborating with musical acts of all styles. She started working as a live sound engineer for the local social centre and independent radio station Radio Onda D'Urto, non-profit left-wing venues and counterculture organizations for a variety of gigs, festivals, and theatre productions. Mastering, a form of audio post production, is the process of preparing and transferring recorded audio from a source containing the final mix to a data storage device (the master), the source from which all copies will be produced (via methods such as pressing, duplication or replication). In recent years digital masters have become usual, although analog masters—such as audio tapes—are still being used by the manufacturing industry, particularly by a few engineers who specialize in analog mastering. Mastering requires critical listening; however, software tools exist to facilitate the process. Matt Colton (born 30 March 1975) is an English mastering engineer and member of the mastering group of the Music Producers Guild. He has mastered recordings for artists such as Muse, Coldplay, James Blake, George Michael, Hot Chip, Gary Numan, Peter Gabriel, Flume and Erasure. He began his mastering career as an engineer at Porky's Mastering in London, run by George 'Porky' Peckham in 1997 where he worked with a diverse range of artists from Aphex Twin's Rephlex Records to Kylie Minogue, and has also worked at Optimum Mastering, Alchemy Soho and AIR Studios where he cut the vinyl masters for Coldplay's ''Mylo Xyloto'', remastered George Michael's ''Faith'', and worked on the debut album by James Blake. Sonic Youth
Sonic Youth was an American rock band based in New York City, formed in 1981.
