The Twins Effect II
''The Twins Effect II'' is a 2004 Hong Kong action fantasy film directed by Corey Yuen and Patrick Leung. The film is a sequel to ''The Twins Effect'' (2003), but has a completely different story from the first film. It starred Charlene Choi and Gillian Chung of Cantopop duo Twins (group), Twins in the leading roles. Co-stars include Donnie Yen, Daniel Wu, Edison Chen, Wilson Chen, Tony Leung Ka-fai, Qu Ying, Fan Bingbing and Jim Chim. Jackie Chan also makes a cameo appearance, along with his son Jaycee Chan in his acting debut. The film's original English working title was ''The Huadu Chronicles: Blade of the Rose'' and its US DVD release title is ''Blade of Kings''. Corey Yuen
Corey Yuen (; born Ying Gang-ming (殷元奎); 15 February 1951) is a Hong Kong director, film director, producer, action choreographer, and former actor. Yuen was a member of the Peking Opera Schools and one of the Seven Little Fortunes. As an actor, Yuen is perhaps best known as Rubber Legs' student in 1979 kung fu comedy film ''Dance of the Drunk Mantis''. As an action director, Yuen gained fame in American cinema beginning with 1998 film ''Lethal Weapon 4'', followed by the 2000 blockbuster ''X-Men'' and six of Jet Li's American works: ''Romeo Must Die'', ''Kiss of the Dragon'', ''The One'', ''Cradle 2 the Grave'', ''War'', and '' The Expendables''. Twins are a Hong Kong Cantopop duo that was created in the summer of 2001 by Emperor Entertainment Group (EEG). Twins are made up of two girls, Charlene Choi (蔡卓妍) and Gillian Chung (鍾欣潼).Kar, Law. The Hong Kong Movie Database (HKMDB) is a bilingual (English and Chinese) website started in 1995 by Hong Kong resident Ryan Law to provide a repository for information about movies originating from Hong Kong and the people who created them. Kenny Kwan
Kenny Kwan Chi-Bun (born December 30, 1980) is a Philippine-born Hong Kong singer-songwriter and actor, under the music label Emperor Entertainment Group. He was born in the Philippines but grew up in Hong Kong. At age 20, he and his friend, Steven Cheung were created as members of Boy'z, which is now known as Sun Boy'z. In 2005, Kenny was asked to leave Boy'z so he could pursue his career as a solo artist. He has since released three albums (July 2005, December 2005, and July 2006) called "Oncoming", "Musick", and "Mie Wo Sagashite", respectively. On July 13, 2006, Kenny released his newest album called "Mie Wo Sagashite" with a 160-page photo book. In 2007, Kenny was a guest at the Success Gala in Vancouver, where he performed and raised money for the organization.
