The Tritones
The Tritones are an a cappella co-ed group from the University of California, San Diego. The group was founded in 1996 and is the first of nine a cappella groups on the campus. The group is composed of 14-22 undergraduate and graduate students from the university and sings a variety of genres, from jazz to Top 40's. The Group frequently competes in the International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella. The Tritones have performed alongside Taylor Swift at the 2010 Country Music Awards and opened for the Far East Movement.Margoni, Laura. ''A cappella'' (, also , ; ) music is a performance by a singer or a singing group without instrumental accompaniment, or a piece intended to be performed in this way. The term ''a cappella'' was originally intended to differentiate between Renaissance polyphony and Baroque concertato musical styles. In the 19th century, a renewed interest in Renaissance polyphony, coupled with an ignorance of the fact that vocal parts were often doubled by instrumentalists, led to the term coming to mean unaccompanied vocal music. The Rescues are an American rock band from Los Angeles, California, formed in 2008. Their music can be classified as indie pop/rock, and is notable for its use of three and four-part vocal harmonies. Clean Bandit are an English electronic music group, formed in Cambridge in 2008. They have had four number 1 hits and ten top 10 hits on the UK Singles Chart. They direct and produce their own music videos, many of which have been nominated for Brit Awards and VMAs, while two of them, "Symphony" and " Rockabye", each have over 1 billion views on YouTube, with Rockabye having reached over 2.7 billion views. The Neighbourhood
The Neighbourhood (sometimes rendered as "THE NBHD") is an American rock band formed in Newbury Park, California, in 2011. The band is composed of vocalist Jesse Rutherford, guitarists Jeremy Freedman and Zach Abels, and bassist Mikey Margot. After releasing two EPs, ''I'm Sorry...'' and ''Thank You'', the Neighbourhood released its first full-length album '' I Love You.'' on April 23, 2013, via Columbia Records. Fun (stylized as fun.) is an American pop rock band based in New York City.
