The Train (1970 Film)
''The Train'' is a 1970 Indian Hindi-language thriller film starring Rajesh Khanna, Nanda. It is a remake of the 1967 Malayalam film ''Cochin Express''. Plot Khanna stars as Police Inspector Shyam Kumar, who sets out to solve a series of murders which have all taken place on a train. Complicating the situation are his girlfriend Neeta (Nanda), who has been acting mysteriously ever since she began her new job, and hotel dancer Miss Lily (Helen), who tries to seduce the good police inspector, but may find that she loses her heart instead. Ravikant Nagaich
Ravikant Nagaich (5 July 1931 – 6 January 1991) was an Indian film personality. He is an Indian film personality born at Atrauli, Aligarh- Uttar Pradesh, India in a Brahmin family. He started his filming career as a cinematographer in Telugu films, N.T. Rama Rao's ''Sri Seetha Rama Kalyanam'' in 1961 being his first film. With ''Farz (1967 film), Farz'', he turned to Hindi movies and direction. This low-budget thriller inspired by ''James Bond'' was a surprise hit and helped Ravikant and the film's lead pair's (Jeetendra and Babita) career. Madan Puri
Madan Puri (30 September 1915 – 13 January 1985) was an Indian actor of Hindi and Punjabi films. His brothers were actors Chaman Puri and Amrish Puri. As a character actor mainly in negative roles (villain), he acted in about 430 films in a career spanning above fifty years. Early life Madan Lal Puri was born in Nawanshahr, Punjab, in a Punjabi Hindu family, to Nihal Chand Puri and Ved Kaur. He studied in Rahon. Early life Anand Bakshi (Bakshi Anand Prakash Vaid) was born in Rawalpindi in the Punjab Province of British India (now in Punjab, Pakistan), on 21 July 1930 into a Mohyal Brahmin family of the Vaid clan. The family arrived in Delhi, via a Dakota aircraft after the Partition of India and then migrated to Pune, then Meerut and settled again finally in Delhi.
