The Thompsons
''The Thompsons'' is an independent 2012 horror film directed by the Butcher Brothers (Mitchell Altieri and Phil Flores) and produced by Rob Weston and Travis Stevens. It is a sequel to the Butcher Brothers previous film '' The Hamiltons''. It premiered at the London FrightFest Film Festival on August 26, 2012. Filmed largely in the UK, several scenes feature The Ringlestone Inn Near Harrietsham, in Kent, south-east of London. Premise On the run from the law, the vampire family the Hamiltons (now known as the Thompsons) heads to England to find an ancient vampire clan known as the Stuarts. Unbeknownst to the Hamiltons, the Stuarts have motives of their own. The Butcher Brothers are the filmmaking alter-egos of American film directors Mitchell Altieri and Phil Flores. Biography Phil Flores Flores's first film was ''Long Cut'' (2002); he then joined with Mitchell Altieri to produce ''Lurking in Suburbia'' (2006). Mitchell Altieri Altieri's first feature film ''Lurking in Suburbia'' was discovered by Sundance Film Festival programmer Trevor Groth. Harrietsham
Harrietsham is a rural and industrial village and civil parish in the Maidstone District of Kent, England noted in the Domesday Book. According to the United Kingdom Census 2001, it had a population of 1,504, increasing to 2,113 at the 2011 Census. The parish is in the North Downs, east of Maidstone and includes the settlements of Marley, Pollhill and Fairbourne. History Harrietsham is noted in the Domesday Book. In mediaeval times the manor of Harrietsham passed through a succession of families, including the Adam family of Essex. Sean Cronin (born 1964) is an English actor and director. Cronin is best known for playing villains. He is of Italian and Spanish descent. Ringlestone Inn
The Ringlestone Inn is an historic public house and restaurant, located in the Ringlestone hamlet near the village of Wormshill in Kent, England. Dating back to the reign of Henry VIII (1509–1547) the current Grade II listed building was constructed in 1533 and retains its original brick and flint walls and oak beams. The interior is unchanged since around 1732 and includes tables crafted from the timbers of an 18th-century Thames barge. An inscription on an ancient oak sideboard formerly found at the property reads: ''A Ryghte Joyouse and welcome greetynge too ye all'', it is now located at Knole as it is inscribed with the names John Tufton, Earl of Thanet and Margaret Sackville (his wife) of Knole.
