The songs have a consistent theme and tell a story of love and isolation with varying degrees of melancholy, hope, conflict, fulfillment and alienation. They are apparently written about the same woman. The cover depicts a room full of books with a boy staring through a telescope directly at a girl standing at the other end. There are themes of conflict in the lyrics not just between the lovers but with unlabeled enemies. Most of the tracks are instrumental with titles to indicate which part of the story they relate to. Her Space Holiday
Her Space Holiday is the recording moniker of indietronic and indie rock artist Marc Bianchi. History Marc Bianchi began as a musician in the California hardcore scene. He was a part of Indian Summer and Mohinder before assuming the moniker "Her Space Holiday" in 1996. Initially, Bianchi was not interested in releasing Her Space Holiday's first works, as he was focused on launching the bands associated with his new (now defunct) record label Audio Information Phenomena. However, after being approached by Chocolate River Industries to record a 12-inch EP, Her Space Holiday became Bianchi's full-time project. Since the release of Her Space Holiday's first EP, the band has released six full-length albums, several singles and EPs, and a remix album. He has toured with Bright Eyes, The Faint, Pinback, Bob Mould, The American Analog Set, Lymbyc Systym and others. He has also remixed songs from REM, Duster, The Faint, The American Analog Set, Xiu Xiu, and others. Released on Oc ...

Indie (music)
Independent music (also commonly known as indie music or simply indie) is music that is produced independently from commercial record labels or their subsidiaries, a process that may include an autonomous, do-it-yourself approach to recording and publishing. The term ''indie'' is sometimes used to describe a genre (such as indie rock and indie pop), and as a genre term, "indie" may or may not include music that is independently produced, and many independent music artists do not fall into a single, defined musical style or genre and create self-published music that can be categorized into diverse genres. The term 'indie' or 'independent music' can be traced back to as early as the 1920s after it was first used to reference independent film companies but was later used as a term to classify an independent band or record producer. Record labels Independent labels have a long history of promoting developments in popular music, stretching back to the post-war period in the United ...

''XOXO, Panda and the New Kid Revival'' is Marc Bianchi's 2008 album under his pseudonym Her Space Holiday. The album was released on October 7, 2008.
