The Tax Collector
''The Tax Collector'' is a 2020 American action thriller film written, directed, and produced by David Ayer. The film stars Bobby Soto, Cinthya Carmona, George Lopez, and Shia LaBeouf, and follows two enforcers (known as "tax collectors") working for a Los Angeles crime lord whose business becomes upended, resulting in one of them desperately protecting his family from an old rival. David Ayer
David Ayer (born January 18 , 1968) is an American filmmaker known for making crime films that are set in Los Angeles and deal with gangs and police corruption. His screenplays include ''Training Day'' (2001), ''The Fast and the Furious'' (2001), and ''S.W.A.T.'' (2003). He has also directed ''Harsh Times'' (2005), '' Street Kings'' (2008), ''End of Watch'' (2012), and ''Sabotage'' (2014).
