''Le avventure di Giacomo Casanova'' (a.k.a. ''The Sins of Casanova'') is a 1955 Italian comedy film directed by Steno. It stars Gabriele Ferzetti, Corinne Calvet and Irène Galter. Famed horror film director Lucio Fulci wrote the script, one of his earliest projects. Mario Bava was the cinematographer. Stefano Vanzina
Steno, the artistic name of Stefano Vanzina (19 January 1917 – 13 March 1988), was an Italian film director, screenwriter and cinematographer. Carlo Campanini
Carlo Campanini (5 October 1906 – 20 November 1984), was an Italian actor, singer and comedian. He appeared in more than 120 films between 1939 and 1969. Life and career Born in Turin, Campanini attended a technical school and a course of singing, then he started his career at nineteen entering the company of prose Casaleggio, with whom he toured six months in Argentina. In the following years Campanini was cast as singer-comedian and even as a tenor in a number of revue and operetta companies. In 1936 he became the leading actor in the company of Vivienne D'Arys, in which he successfully teamed with Carlo Dapporto. Lia Di Leo
Lia Anna Di Leo (22 July 1923 – 15 December 2006) was an Italian actress and model. She entered the 1951 Miss Italy contest and then began acting in films, generally playing glamorous supporting roles. Di Leo's parents died while she was very young, and as a result she raised her two younger twin brothers, Marion and Tony.
