Sugar Ray
Sugar Ray is an American rock band formed in Newport Beach, California, in 1986. Originally playing heavier funk metal and nu metal style music, the band achieved mainstream popularity in 1997 with their more pop-influenced single " Fly". The song's success led the band to shift its style dramatically to the more radio-friendly pop sound with their subsequent releases. Charles Stanton "Stan" Frazier (born April 23, 1968) is an American musician, record producer, singer, songwriter and restaurateur. He co-founded Sugar Ray in 1986 and was the band's principal songwriter and drummer until 2012. Frazier served as the producer for tracks and albums by Sugar Ray, Dirty Heads and Ashlee Simpson. In 2012, he starred on the BBC culinary reality show ''Chef Race, UK vs US'' and won a prize of $100,000 Frazier is the co-owner of the Original Sgt. Charlie Colin
Charlie Colin is an American musician. He is the former bassist for the rock band Train. He also played guitar and provided background vocals for many other bands after his departure from the group in 2003. Early life Colin began playing guitar at about eight when he lived in Virginia. Later, his family moved to Newport Beach, California. At Newport Harbor High School surfing, playing water polo, and the guitar became his constant companions. Berklee College of Music Colin attended University of Southern California to explore his artistic gifts; then he transferred halfway to focus primarily on his musical gifts at Berklee College of Music in Boston. Attending Berklee got Colin fully immersed in music. He started playing with seniors for lessons and so he could learn more. Jeffrey Allen "Skunk" Baxter (born December 13, 1948) is an American guitarist, known for his stints in the rock bands Steely Dan and The Doobie Brothers during the 1970s and Spirit in the 1980s. More recently, he has worked as a defense consultant and advised U.S. members of Congress on missile defense. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of The Doobie Brothers in 2020.
