The Shopping Bags
''The Shopping Bags'' was a Canadian television series that aired on the W Network in Canada and on Fine Living in the United States. Launched in 2002, the series focused on consumer affairs and better shopping. Each week, the program looked at several goods and services to discover which one was the best. This was also done to guide viewers towards which product or service may best suit their needs. The program looked at day-to-day shopping and big ticket items, as well as having a final "Shopping Thought" at the end of each program. ''The Shopping Bags'' was produced in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada by Worldwide Bag Media Inc. The hosts and show creators are award-winning journalists Anna Wallner and Kristina Matisic. Anna Wallner
Anna Wallner (born October 31, 1969) is the host, with Kristina Matisic, of '' The Shopping Bags'', ''Anna & Kristina's Grocery Bag'', and '' Anna & Kristina's Beauty Call''. She is from Toronto, Ontario. She was a reporter for Global News (Vancouver) in 1994. Education Wallner attended the University of British Columbia, where she received her Bachelor of Arts Degree. She continued her education to complete her graduate studies in journalism at University of King's College in Halifax. In 1994, she began her television career as a reporter for Global News in Vancouver. Anna was voted Broadcaster of Tomorrow by the BC Broadcasters Association in 1999 and in 2000 she was nominated for a prestigious Webster award for her work as a health reporter. Randy Bachman
Randolph Charles Bachman (; born September 27, 1943) is a Canadian guitarist, singer, and songwriter. He was a founding member of the bands The Guess Who and Bachman–Turner Overdrive. Paula Beth Begoun (born November 14, 1953), also known as "The Cosmetics Cop", is an American talk radio host, author, and businesswoman.
