The index and middle fingers are held together. The thumb may be tucked against the palm or – in a variation on the gesture – extended. The gesture refers to the sex act of inserting the index and middle fingers into a partner's vagina and the little finger into their anus, the latter of which is presumed to "shock" them. If the thumb is extended, it refers to simultaneously stimulating their clitoris. The hand gesture is not necessarily practical for the sex act it represents, however. The standard form of the gesture is known colloquially Colloquialism (), also called colloquial language, everyday language or general parlance, is the linguistic style used for casual (informal) communication. It can also be a remark or question, typically disparaging (also called insinuation), that works obliquely by allusion. Sexual innuendo The term sexual innuendo has acquired a specific meaning, namely that of a "risqué" double entendre by playing on a possibly sexual interpretation of an otherwise innocent uttering. For example: "We need to go deeper" can be seen as either a request for further inquiry or allude to sexual penetration. In the context of def ...
