The Sheds were an American ska punk band from Agoura Hills, California, active from 2005 to 2015. History The Sheds released their first EP in 2011 titled ''...And Now for Something Completely Different''. The Sheds released their second EP titled ''Self/Doubt'' in 2012 via Mediaskare Records. The sheds released their first and only full-length album titled ''I'll Be Fine'' in 2013 via Mediaskare Records. The album was produced by Nick Zinner, Nicky Zinner.The song "Bad Things Are Bad" was featured on the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5 soundtrack in 2015. Ska Punk
Ska punk (also spelled ska-punk) is a fusion genre that mixes ska music and punk rock music together. (sometimes spelled skacore) is a subgenre of ska punk that mixes ska with hardcore punk. Early ska punk mixed both 2 tone and ska with hardcore punk. Ska punk tends to feature brass instruments, especially horns such as trumpets, trombones and woodwind instruments like saxophones, making the genre distinct from other forms of punk rock. It is closely tied to third wave ska which reached its zenith in the mid-1990s. Before ska punk began, many ska bands and punk rock bands performed on the same bills together and performed to the same audiences. Agoura Hills () is a city in the Santa Monica Mountains region of Los Angeles County, California, United States. Its population was 20,330 at the 2010 census, which decreased to 20,299 in 2020. It generally provides readers with band interviews, photos, and relevant news. It was founded in 1985 by Mike Shea in Cleveland, OH. The company is now looked after by MDDN. Beginnings The first issue of ''Alternative Press'' was distributed at concerts in Cleveland, Ohio beginning in June 1985 by ''APs founder, Mike Shea to advocate bands playing underground music. The name for the magazine, ''Alternative Press'', was not a reference to the alternative rock genre, but referred to the fanzine being an alternative to the local press. Nicholas Joseph Zinner (born December 8, 1974) is an American guitarist for the New York rock band Yeah Yeah Yeahs and a record producer. Zinner is an accomplished photographer. Musical career Before forming the Yeah Yeahs Yeahs with Karen O and Brian Chase in 2000, Zinner attended Bard College where he played in the Boba Fett Experience, who later changed their name to Challenge of the Future because of concerns about being sued by George Lucas. The band moved to Williamsburg, Brooklyn in the late 1990s and broke up in 2001. Since 2001, Zinner has many collaborative efforts with such acts as TV on the Radio, Har Mar Superstar, Ronnie Spector, The Horrors, and Scarlett Johansson. ''Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5'' is a 2015 skateboarding video game developed in collaboration between Robomodo and Disruptive Games, and published by Activision. The tenth main installment in the ''Tony Hawk's'' series, the game is the first new title in the main series since 2007's ''Proving Ground'' and the first ''Pro Skater'' since 2002's '' Pro Skater 4'', as the series had been put on hold following a lack of critical and commercial success with later games. As the licensing deal between Tony Hawk and Activision was set to expire by the end of 2015, the game was hastily developed within a few months and released unfinished, with most content contained in a large day-one patch.
