The Secret (Cosmic Girls EP)
''The Secret'' is the second extended play by South Korean-Chinese girl group WJSN. It marked their first album as a thirteen-member group since the addition of Yoo Yeon-jung in July 2016. It was released on August 17, 2016 by Starship Entertainment and distributed by LOEN Entertainment. To promote the EP, the group appeared on several South Korean music programs, including ''Music Bank'' and '' Inkigayo''. The song "Secret" was released as the lead single from the EP with a Chinese version also included. The EP was a commercial success peaking at number six on Gaon Album Chart. It has sold over 14,939 physical copies as of September 2016. WJSN
WJSN (; ), also known as Cosmic Girls, is a South Korean girl group formed by Starship Entertainment. The group debuted on February 25, 2016, with the extended play ''Would You Like?'' and with twelve members: Seola, Xuanyi, Bona, Exy, Soobin, Luda, Dawon, Eunseo, Cheng Xiao, Meiqi, Yeoreum and Dayoung. In July 2016, WJSN added a thirteenth member, Yeonjung, to the group. Mnet (acronym of Music Network) is a South Korean pay television music channel owned by CJ E&M, a division of CJ ENM, part of CJ Group. The CJ E&M Center Studio located in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul is the broadcast and recording centre of many Mnet programs with a studio audience, namely the live weekly music show '' M Countdown''. The Circle Digital Chart, previously known as the Gaon Digital Chart, is the music industry standard record chart ranking the 200 most popular singles in South Korea. It provides rankings on a weekly, monthly, and yearly basis, which is based on an aggregate of streaming, downloads and background music from major South Korean music platforms. ''M Countdown'' () is a South Korean music program broadcast by Mnet. The show features appearances by popular music artists who also perform live on stage. It is broadcast from CJ E&M Center Studio in Sangam-dong, Mapo District, Seoul. Broadcast ''M Countdown'' airs live on domestic television at 6PM KST every Thursday. Live streaming is available internationally via the ''M Countdown On Air'' page on Mwave's website. In the Philippines, online multi-view live broadcast of the show is available via gigafest.smart.
