The Scream (band)
The Scream was an American hard rock band based in Los Angeles, originally formed in 1989 as Saints or Sinners. The band originally featured former Angora singer John Corabi and former Racer X members guitarist Bruce Bouillet, bassist Juan Alderete, and drummer Scott Travis. However, Scott Travis quickly left to join Judas Priest, and was replaced by former Shark Island drummer Walt Woodward III. Scott Travis co-wrote "I Don't Care" on '' Let It Scream'', though he did not actually play on the album. They changed their name from Saints or Sinners to The Scream shortly after Walt Woodward III replaced Scott Travis. Many of the songs on their 1991 debut ''Let It Scream'' were performed by the band in concert before the album was ever recorded. After releasing their 1991 debut ''Let It Scream'' on Hollywood Records, which included the single "I Believe in Me", Corabi left the band to replace the recently departed Vince Neil in Mötley Crüe. Scott Travis
Mark Scott Travis (born September 6, 1961) is an American metal musician, best known as the drummer for the English heavy metal band Judas Priest, the Irish rock band Thin Lizzy and the supergroup Elegant Weapons. He was also a longtime member of the American heavy metal band Racer X during their initial run and then reformation up until their 2009 breakup. Biography Born in Norfolk, Virginia, Travis was a well-known drummer in the local music scene of a region known as Hampton Roads during the early 1980s. Encino Man
''Encino Man'' (known as ''California Man'' in France, Finland, Sweden, Great Britain, Asia, South Africa, and New Zealand) is a 1992 American comedy film directed by Les Mayfield in his directorial debut. The film stars Sean Astin, with a supporting cast of Brendan Fraser, Mariette Hartley, Richard Masur, Pauly Shore, Robin Tunney, Michael DeLuise, and Jonathan Ke Quan in his last American film project until 2021. The plot revolves around two geeky teenagers from Encino, Los Angeles, California, who discover a caveman in Morgan's backyard, frozen in a block of ice where he has to learn to live in the 20th century while teaching the teenagers about life. Bruce Kulick
Bruce Howard Kulick (born December 12, 1953) is an American guitarist and since 2000 a member of the rock band Grand Funk Railroad. Previously, Kulick was a long-time member of the band Kiss (19841996). He was also a member of Union with John Corabi from 19972002 and Blackjack from 19791980. Kulick has also released several solo albums, in addition to session work with various artists. He is the younger brother of guitarist Bob Kulick. Early life and family Kulick was born in Brooklyn, New York City and lived in Queens for a time, graduating from Newtown High School. He is Jewish and also went to Hebrew school. Eric Singer (born Eric Doyle Mensinger; May 12, 1958) is an American drummer. Associated with the hard rock band Kiss since 1991, he has also performed with artists such as Black Sabbath, Alice Cooper, Lita Ford, Badlands, Brian May and Gary Moore as well as his own band ESP. In his career, Singer has appeared on over 75 albums and 11 EPs. Early career Singer was born Eric Doyle Mensinger in Cleveland, Ohio. He grew up in Euclid, Ohio. He graduated from Euclid High School in 1976. The Eric Singer Project (ESP) is an American rock band. It was founded in the 1990s by Eric Singer, drummer for rock bands such as Lita Ford, Black Sabbath, Badlands, Alice Cooper, and Kiss, along with Bruce Kulick (Kiss, Grand Funk Railroad) on guitar, John Corabi (the Scream, Mötley Crüe, Ratt) on guitar and bass, and Karl Cochran on guitar and bass. Vocals duties were shared by Eric, John, and Karl. As of 2007, ESP has released three albums and one DVD. The first album is an all-covers album, titled ''Lost and Spaced''. Abraham Laboriel Jr. (born March 23, 1971) is an American session drummer. He is the son of Mexican bass guitarist Abraham Laboriel, nephew of Mexican rocker Johnny Laboriel, and brother of record producer, songwriter, and film composer Mateo Laboriel. He has been the drummer for Paul McCartney's touring and recording band since 2001, as well as for Eric Clapton among others. Vincent Neil Wharton (born February 8, 1961), best known by the stage name Vince Neil, is an American musician. ''Let It Scream'' is the first album of the American hard rock band The Scream. It was the only album by the band to be officially released by a major record company. The song "I Don't Care" was co-written by the band's original drummer Scott Travis, who left The Scream, who were at the time known as Saints Or Sinners, to replace drummer Dave Holland in Judas Priest before ''Let It Scream'' was recorded. After this album, vocalist John Corabi left The Scream to replace Vince Neil in Mötley Crüe. Also after this album, former Dashboard Mary lead vocalist Billy Fogarty replaced John Corabi in The Scream, and the band made a radical change in their musical style.
