The Saturdays Discography
British-Irish girl group The Saturdays have released four studio albums, one compilation album, two extended plays and eighteen singles. The Saturdays were formed in 2007, with a number of different auditions through their management: Frankie Sandford, Rochelle Wiseman, Una Healy, Mollie King and Vanessa White were the successful auditionees and were granted a place within the band. The Saturdays made their chart debut in July 2008 with "If This Is Love", which reached the top ten in the United Kingdom. Its follow-up single " Up," released in October 2008, debuted at number five on the UK Singles Chart. To date the single has sold over 345,000 copies in the UK alone and stayed in the charts for 30 weeks. The band's debut studio album, ''Chasing Lights'' (2008) reached the top ten on the UK Albums Chart and received a Platinum selling status by the British Phonographic Industry (BPI). The Saturdays
The Saturdays were a British-Irish girl group based in London, England. The group formed during the summer of 2007 and have been on hiatus since 2014. The lineup consists of Frankie Bridge, Una Healy, Rochelle Humes, Mollie King, and Vanessa White. They were formed through Fascination Records, a sub-division of Polydor Records, who gave them an instant record deal with the label. As soon as the contract was finalised, the Saturdays went on tour with Girls Aloud during their Tangled Up Tour. The group's music style is pop, but throughout their career, their management has experimented with dance-pop and electropop. Songwriters and producers Ina Wroldsen, Steve Mac, Camille Purcell, and Quiz & Larossi have helped create their music. "All Fired Up" is a song by British-Irish girl group The Saturdays, released as the second single from their third studio album, '' On Your Radar'' (2011). The single was released on 4 September 2011 by Polydor Records. The song was written by Tim Deal, Brian Higgins, Matt Gray, Annie Yuill, Miranda Cooper, MNEK, Xenomania and Space Cowboy. The song was also produced by Brian Higgins and Xenomania, and was recorded at Xenomania. Described by critics as an "anthemic dance banger", the electropop song was inspired by the music of Rihanna and Britney Spears, and was noted for its "synth dance beat". The album was recorded in London, New York City, Oslo and Stockholm, with Steve Mac, who had been instrumental in the production of the band's previous albums, served as a producer on the album, with additional producers and songwriters also being included in the making of the record, including Lucas Secon, Taio Cruz, Labrinth, Tracklacers, Space Cowboy, Brian Higgins and Lucie Silvas. "Higher" is a song by British-Irish girl group The Saturdays from their debut EP, '' Headlines!''. Written by Ina Wroldsen and co-written & produced by Arnthor Birgisson, the song was released on 28 October 2010 as the second and final single from the EP. In preparation for its release, the single was remixed to feature new vocals from American rapper Flo Rida after the rapper's single "Club Can't Handle Me" beat the group's previous single " Missing You" to number one; it was the second time they had lost the position to Flo Rida. Rochelle Humes jokingly said that the group would never get a number one until they collaborated with him. Flo Rida personally offered the collaboration for both his and the group's fans.
