The Sabata Trilogy
''The Sabata Trilogy'' is a series of Spaghetti Western films released between 1969 and 1971, directed by Gianfranco Parolini, and starring Lee Van Cleef in the first, '' Sabata'', Yul Brynner in the second, ''Adiós, Sabata'', and Van Cleef returning for the third, '' Return of Sabata''. Overview ''Sabata'' Lee Van Cleef stars as a mostly silent, loner gunman who foils a plan by some leaders of a small Texas town to rob their own bank and sell the town to the railroad. William Berger co-stars as Banjo, an opposing gunman. Renato Izzo
Renato Izzo (15 June 1929 – 30 July 2009) was an Italian actor, voice actor and screenwriter. Biography Born in Campobasso to Romolo and Giuseppina Izzo and the second of eight children, Izzo was considered to be among the most popular and influential actors and dubbers across Italy. He founded the dubbing society Pumais Due (formerly Gruppo Trenta) in 1980 and he helped other important dubbers achieve fame such as Massimo Lodolo, Tonino Accolla, Perla Liberatori, Claudia Catani and Paolo Buglioni. He also incorporated his children and grandchildren into his ventures. Izzo was known for dubbing actors such as Robert Hoffmann, Paul Newman, Tomas Milian, Mark Damon and Clint Eastwood. Raf Baldassarre (17 January 1932 - 11 January 1995) was an Italian film actor. Life and career Born Raffaele Baldassarre in Giurdignano, Lecce, Apulia, he started his career in the late 1950s, being cast in many peplum and adventure films, alternating between stereotypical roles of the young villain and the loyal friend of the protagonist. Following a fashion of the time for American-sounding stage names, in the second half of the 1960s he was credited "Ralph Baldwyn" or "Ralph Baldwin" in several Spaghetti Westerns. Peter Lee Lawrence born Karl Hyrenbach (21 February 1944 in Lindau, Germany – 20 April 1974 in Rome, Italy), was a German actor and a citizen of France. He enjoyed brief fame as a prolific leading man of Spaghetti Westerns before dying at the age of 30. Biography He lived in Nice for several years with his mother and then in Rome (Italy) with his wife and son. He was also cast in photonovels under the name Pierre Clément. His first notable film role was a small, uncredited, but important appearance as the brother-in-law of Lee Van Cleef in ''For a Few Dollars More''. From then on he went on to star in 16 more Spaghetti Westerns from 1967 to 1973. He was also credited in several of these films as Arthur Grant. Tulio Demicheli (born August 15, 1914, Buenos Aires, Argentina - d. May 25, 1992, Madrid, Spain) was an Argentina, Argentine film director, born Spanish film director, screenwriter and film producer of the classic era. Born as Armando Bartolomé Demichelli in 1914, Demicheli initially began as a screenwriter in 1944 but by 1950 with his directorial debut in ''Arrabalera (1950 film), Arrabalera'' in 1950 he began to simultaneously direct and write for his films. Bradford Harris (July 16, 1933 – November 7, 2017) was an American actor, stuntman, and executive producer. He appeared in a variety of roles in over 50 films, mostly in European productions. He was an inductee in the Stuntman's Hall of Fame. Life and career Born in St. Anthony, Idaho, Harris' family moved to California, where he attended Burbank High School, then received an athletic scholarship to UCLA where he studied economics. When he injured his knee playing football he was advised to take up weightlifting to strengthen the injury that developed his interest in bodybuilding.
