''Los Mármol'' (''The Rubbles'' in English, ''Os Rubbles'' in Portuguese) is a series of 6 animated shorts spin-off (media), spun-off from ''The Flintstones'' that aired during Television advertisement, commercial breaks on the Cartoon Network (Latin American TV channel), Latin American Cartoon Network in 2002. It is a parody of ''The Osbournes'', a reality show that aired on MTV. The titles have been changed to Spanish and Portuguese but all the episodes are in English. Overview The series parodies the format of reality television, reality shows including the constant moving of the camera and swearing. It is focused on the Rubble family and their everyday life. Barney Rubble
Barney Rubble is a fictional character who appears in the television animated series ''The Flintstones''. He is the diminutive, blond-haired caveman husband of Betty Rubble and adoptive father of Bamm-Bamm Rubble. His best friend is his next door neighbor, Fred. Barney's personality was based on that of Ed Norton on the 1950s television series ''The Honeymooners'', played by Art Carney. Like Ralph Kramden on ''The Honeymooners'', Fred was constantly on the lookout for get-rich-quick schemes, while Barney, like Norton, found life satisfactory as it was, but participated in said schemes because Fred was his friend. Bamm-Bamm Rubble (sometimes spelled Bam-Bam Rubble) is a fictional character in the ''Flintstones'' franchise, the adopted son of Barney and Betty Rubble. William Hanna
William Denby Hanna (July 14, 1910 – March 22, 2001) was an American animator and cartoonist who was the creator of ''Tom and Jerry'' as well as the voice actor for the two title characters. Alongside Joseph Barbera, he also founded the animation studio and production company Hanna-Barbera. Hanna joined the Harman and Ising animation studio in 1930 and steadily gained skill and prominence while working on cartoons such as '' Captain and the Kids''. In 1937, while working at Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (MGM), Hanna met Joseph Barbera.
