''The Rose Original Soundtrack'' () is the soundtrack for the 2003 Taiwanese drama, '' The Rose'', starring Ella of S.H.E, Jerry Huang, Joe Cheng, and Joelle Lu. Although ''The Rose'' was produced in Taiwan, where Traditional Chinese script is used, the drama uses a Simplified Chinese title. It was released by HIM International Music on 20 June 2003. The music video for "花都開好了" (Flowers Have Blossomed) was S.H.E's first outdoor music video since ''Youth Societys "熱帶雨林" (Tropical Rain Forest). Selina and Joe Cheng starred in the music video for "葉子" (Leaf). Mandopop
Mandopop or Mandapop refers to Standard Chinese, Mandarin popular music. The genre has its origin in the jazz-influenced popular music of 1930s Shanghai known as Shidaiqu; with later influences coming from Japanese enka, Hong Kong's Cantopop, Taiwan's Hokkien pop, and in particular the School campus song, Campus Song folk movement of the 1970s. 'Mandopop' may be used as a general term to describe popular songs performed in Mandarin. Though Mandopop predates Cantopop, the English term was coined around 1980 after "Cantopop" became a popular term for describing popular songs in Cantonese. "Mandopop" was used to describe Mandarin-language popular songs of that time, some of which were versions of Cantopop songs sung by the same singers with different lyrics to suit the different rhyme and tonal patterns of Mandarin. Selina Jen Chia-hsüan (; born 31 October 1981) is a Taiwanese singer, television host and actress. She is a member of the Taiwanese girl group S.H.E."我猜我猜我猜猜猜 20070212." Web. Power Station (Taiwanese Group)
Power Station () is a Taiwanese rock duo, composed of Yu Chiu-hsin (尤秋興) and Yen Chih-lin (顏志琳), both of the Paiwan tribe of Taiwan's Pingtung County. Their music is characterized by their energetic rock ballads, as well as their electrifying rock anthems. Their looks and long hair stand out from the mainstream Taiwan pop scene because of their resemblance to western heavy metal musicians.
