The Romancing Star III
''The Romancing Star III'' is a 1989 Hong Kong romantic comedy film directed by Sherman Wong and starring Stanley Fung, Wong Jing, Lawrence Cheng, James Wong, Shing Fui-On, Sam Christopher Chan and guest stars Andy Lau, the star of '' The Romancing Star II'' Plot Chow Si-pak (Shing Fui-On), Dried Pork (Wong Jing), Lo Ka-ying (Lawrence Cheng and Yo (Sam Christopher Chan) are cousins who are unemployed. Later, they get jobs at Ken Lau's (Stanley Fung) car garage. Lau's rival, Bluffer Wong ( James Wong), has a competing business that employs young girls as the mechanics. The girls are spectacularly attractive, and include Wong's sister in-law, Man, (Sharla Cheung) and his three daughters Ching (Chingmy Yau), Man-man (Vivian Chow and Tak (Wanda Yung), meaning the boys are primed to chase them all over Hong Kong. Wong Jing
Wong Jing ( born 3 May 1955) is a Hong Kong film director, producer, actor, presenter, and screenwriter. A prolific filmmaker with strong instincts for crowd-pleasing and publicity, Wong Jing played a prominent role in Hong Kong cinema during the 1990s. Biography Wong was born in Hong Kong, the son of noted film director Wong Tin-Lam. He graduated from the Chinese University of Hong Kong with a degree in Chinese literature which he describes as "useless" (Yang, 2003). Like many Hong Kong film figures of his time, Wong began his career in television – in his case, scriptwriting for local juggernaut TVB beginning in 1975 (Teo, 1997). He moved on to writing for the Shaw Brothers studio. There, he made his directing debut with ''Challenge of the Gamesters'' (千王鬥千霸) in 1981. Sandra Ng Kwan-yue (born 2 August 1965) is a Hong Kong actress, film director and producer. Life and career The daughter of the actor Kenneth Ng Kam Tsun, Ng was born in Hong Kong, where she attended St. Stephen's Girls' College. Encouraged by her parents, she began her entertainment career at the age of 16. She is most known through her comic roles, where she often pokes fun at her plain looks. She has frequently collaborated with Stephen Chow, notably in ''All for the Winner'', ''Magnificent Scoundrels'' and '' Royal Tramp'', among others.
