The ''Financial Review Rich List'', formerly known as the ''BRW Rich 200'', is a list of Australia's two hundred wealthiest individuals and families, ranked by personal net worth published annually in ''The Australian Financial Review Magazine'', a supplement of ''The Australian Financial Review'', published by Nine Publishing. The list provides a short summary on some of the known business activities of the individuals and families, together with commentary on how their ranking has changed from the previous year, if listed. The list was historically released annually in May or June in a special issue of the ''Business Review Weekly (BRW)'', published by Fairfax Media. National Business Review Rich List
The ''National Business Review'' (or ''NBR'') is a New Zealand online news publication aimed at the business sector. It has journalists based in Auckland and Wellington. History The ''NBR'' was founded in 1970 by then-23 year old publisher Henry Newrick. Initially published as a fortnightly tabloid-format newspaper, it was briefly published as a daily newspaper from 1987 to 1991. New Zealand businessman Barry Colman was the ''NBR's'' publisher for 24 years, after buying it from John Fairfax & Sons in 1988. He sold it to Todd Scott in 2012. The publication's website has a paywall model, where businesses and individual subscribers pay to access certain content. As of June 2016, the ''NBR'' had more than 4000 paying subscribers. The ''NBR'' launched an online radio platform in March 2015, NBR Radio, and in early 2017 it launched a video platform, NBR View. In 2020, the NBR ceased printing and became an online newspaper. The ''Sunday Times Rich List'' is a list of the 1,000 wealthiest people or families resident in the United Kingdom ranked by net wealth. The list is updated annually in April and published as a magazine supplement by British national Sunday newspaper ''The Sunday Times'' since 1989. The editorial decisions governing the compilation of the ''Rich List'' are published in the newspaper and online as its "Rules of engagement". The ''Rich List'' is not limited to British citizens and it includes individuals and families born overseas but who predominantly work and/or live in Britain. ''The Rich List'' is an American television game show on Fox, that aired its only episode on 1 November 2006 at 9 pm ET / PT. The show was then cancelled two days later by Fox after rating poorly in comparison to its slot competitors, '' Lost'' (on ABC) and CBS's '' Criminal Minds''. It was produced by the British company 12 Yard, whose main creative team devised and produced '' Weakest Link'' and '' Dog Eat Dog''. It featured competitors making lists of things, such as ABBA songs or Steven Spielberg movies, with the winning team being the one that could name the most. British television presenter Eamonn Holmes was the host. In the episode, Holmes stated, "Our top prize is so big...well, we don't have a top prize!" ''The Rich List'' is an Australian game show which is based on the format initially created for transmission in the United Kingdom created by 12 Yard called ''Who Dares Wins'' (not to be confused with the stunt and dare show of the same name). The game consists of two teams who name as many items relating to a topic as they can while competing against each other for a no-limit cash prize. For its first season, it was shown on Monday nights at 7:30 pm on the Seven Network but moved to Saturday nights in the same timeslot for the second season, before being put on hiatus and returning to its original season-one timeslot.
