The Reytons
The Reytons are an English indie-rock band from Rotherham. Band members include frontman Jonny Yerrell, lead guitarist Joe O'Brien, bass player Lee Holland and drummer Jamie Todd. They formed in 2017. They released their debut album, ''Kids Off the Estate'', on 12 November 2021. It debuted at number eleven on the UK Albums Chart. The second album, '' What's Rock and Roll?'', was released on 20 January 2023. On 27 January 2023, it was announced that their album ''What's Rock and Roll?'' had topped the UK Albums Chart, making it the Reytons' first chart-topping album. Manchester Academy
The Manchester Academy, originally known as the University of Manchester Main Hall, is composed of four concert venues, located on the campus of the University of Manchester, in Manchester, England. The four venues are: Academy 1, 2 and 3 and Club Academy. Utilised by the Students' Union, the venues are housed in two buildings, the original Students' Union built in 1957 and the academy, built in 1990. In 2004, after the merging of the universities, the venues carried the "Academy" moniker. History Known as Victoria University, the Student Union building was erected in 1957. Rotherham
Rotherham () is a large minster and market town in South Yorkshire, England. The town takes its name from the River Rother which then merges with the River Don. The River Don then flows through the town centre. It is the main settlement of the Metropolitan Borough of Rotherham. Rotherham is also the third largest settlement in South Yorkshire after Sheffield and Doncaster, which it is located between. Traditional industries included glass making and flour milling. Post-Britpop

Jonny Yerrell (born 18 October 1985 in Rotherham), is the frontman and songwriter with the band The Reytons. Jay Mya As a solo artist operating under the name Jay Mya, Yerrell released his debut single in 2011 called "Chasing Rainbows", which peaked at number 124 in the national singles chart, in a year in which he supported Professor Green on tour. He followed this track up with the ''Chance To Fail'' EP which featured the tracks "Let Me Know", "Break Out", "Catch Me " and "Need You", with the last track being based around a sample of " Finally" by Kings of Tomorrow featuring Julie McKnight. The Official Albums Chart is a list of albums ranked by physical and digital sales and (from March 2015) audio streaming in the United Kingdom. It was published for the first time on 22 July 1956 and is compiled every week by the Official Charts Company (OCC) on Fridays (previously Sundays). It is broadcast on BBC Radio 1 (top 5) and found on the OCC website as a Top 100 or on UKChartsPlus as a Top 200, with positions continuing until all sales have been tracked in data only available to industry insiders. They released their debut album, ''Kid ..., self-released on 20 January 2023. The album debuted atop the UK Albums Chart, marking a rare occasion of an unsigned band topping the album chart. Commercial performance The album debuted at number 1 in the UK Albums Chart on 27 January 2023. The album sold 12,252 copies to debut at the top and was released in 32 different formats including 16 different CD versions, five different cassettes and a deluxe podcast edition.
