The Return Of Wong Fei Hung
''The Return of Wong Fei Hung'' is a 1984 Hong Kong martial arts television series produced by TVB and starring Andy Lau. Despite Wong Fei-hung being part of the English title, Wong is only a supporting character in the series while the protagonist is his famed disciple Lam Sai-wing, portrayed by Lau. The Cantonese title is "Po Chi Lam" ( Chinese: ), the name of Wong's famed medicine clinic. Plot Lam Sai-wing (Andy Lau), a butcher who makes a living with his older sister by selling pork in Guangzhou. He and his childhood friend Au-yeung Ching-ching (Yammie Lam) go on to develop romantic feelings for one another. Mak Ho Wai
Mak Ho Wai (; 7 January 1946 – 14 April 2022) was a Hong Kong / Singaporean television artiste with TVB and then Mediacorp. Early life and education Mak studied at the National Taiwan Ocean University, receiving a bachelor's degree in electronic engineering. He later earned a master's degree in Chinese language studies at the Beijing Normal University at the age of 60. Career After graduating from National Taiwan Ocean University, Mak was a radio DJ in Taiwan a period of time. Having spent ten years in Taiwan, he was proficient in speaking standard Mandarin. Mak enrolled into the twelfth cohort of the TVB artiste training class in 1982 to fulfil the wishes of his younger brother, , who was also an actor with TVB. Zhizha (), or Taoist paper art, is a type of traditional craft, mainly used as offerings in Taoist festive celebrations and funerals. It had become a widely accepted element in religious practice since Northern Song Dynasty. It now faces a gradual loss of craftsmanship due to related environmental concerns and weakened religious belief. Origin Zhizha is generally perceived as a form of offering in festive celebrations and funerals. It is believed to be a substitute for living offerings in a sacrifice.
