The Respect Issue
''The Respect Issue'' is the second album by American metalcore band Emmure. The album was released on May 13, 2008, with pre-orders available on March 11. Kurt Angle, professional wrestler and former Olympic wrestler, is featured as a boxer on the cover art and throughout the inlay. Angle also wore an Emmure shirt during broadcasts of ''TNA Impact!'' in promotion of the album. This is also the last studio release to feature founding members Ben and Joe Lionetti, who left the band in May 2009. It debuted at number 141 in the ''Billboard'' 200, selling over 5,000 copies. Emmure () is an American metalcore band formed in 2003. Originally based in New Fairfield, Connecticut, before moving to Queens, New York, the group has released eight albums, with their first public release being a 2006 EP entitled ''The Complete Guide to Needlework''. Victory Records has worked with the band throughout most of their career, starting with ''Goodbye to the Gallows'' (2007). Their second, third and fourth albums ''The Respect Issue'' (2008), ''Felony'' (2009) and ''Speaker of the Dead'' (2011) were all distributed through Victory as well. Professional Wrestler
Professional wrestling is a form of theater that revolves around staged wrestling matches. The mock combat is performed in a ring similar to the kind used in boxing, and the dramatic aspects of pro wrestling may be performed both in the ring or—as in televised wrestling shows—in backstage areas of the venue, in similar form to reality television. Professional wrestling as a form of theater evolved out of the widespread practice of match fixing among wrestlers in the early 20th century. ''8mm'' is a 1999 neo-noir psychological thriller film directed by Joel Schumacher and written by Andrew Kevin Walker. A German–American production, the film stars Nicolas Cage as a private investigator who delves into the world of snuff films. Joaquin Phoenix, James Gandolfini, Peter Stormare, and Anthony Heald appear in supporting roles. The film received negative reviews, but was a box office success. Since the Olympic Games began in Athens in 1896, wrestling (in the form of Greco-Roman wrestling) became a focus of the Games, with the exception of the 1900 Summer Olympics when wrestling did not appear on the program. Metalcore
Metalcore (also known as metallic hardcore) is a fusion music genre that combines elements of extreme metal and hardcore punk. As with other styles blending metal and hardcore, such as crust punk and grindcore, metalcore is noted for its use of breakdowns, slow, intense passages conducive to moshing.
