Fox William Mulder () is a fictional FBI Special Agent and one of the two protagonists of the Fox science fiction-supernatural television series ''The X-Files'', played by David Duchovny. The Colonists are an extraterrestrial species and are also the primary group of antagonists in the science fiction television show, ''The X-Files'', as well as the first ''X-Files'' feature film.
