The Ravine Of Goodbye
is a 2013 Japanese drama film directed by Tatsushi Ōmori. The film is based on the Japanese 2008 novel ''Sayonara keikoku'' by Shuichi Yoshida, which intrigued Ōmori with its central mystery of a rape victim and her perpetrator choosing to live together. It won the Special Jury Prize at the 35th Moscow International Film Festival. The ending theme song "Saisakizaka" was written by musician Ringo Sheena, and performed by lead actress Yōko Maki. Tatsushi Ōmori
is a Japanese film director and actor. Career Ōmori was born in Tokyo as the eldest son of Akaji Maro, an actor and butoh dancer. His younger brother, Nao Ōmori, is an actor. While in college, he began making 8 mm films, but started working as an actor after graduation. While acting in Junji Sakamoto's ''Scarred Angels'', he also became a member of the staff. He appeared in and helped produce Hiroshi Okuhara's ''Wave'', which won the NETPAC Award at the 2002 Rotterdam Film Festival. In 2005, he directed his first film, '' The Whispering of the Gods''. Mayu Tsuruta (鶴田 真由, born April 25, 1970 in Kamakura, Kanagawa, Japan) is an actress. In 1996 she was nominated by the Award of the Japanese Academy for Best Supporting Actress in the film Kike wadatsumi no koe Last Friends. Following the chaos of Kenya's 2007 presidential election, on March 30, 2008, she visited thousands of internal refugees at Kenya's Nakuru ASK grounds, as a goodwill ambassador for Tokyo International Conference on African Development. Shuichi Yoshida
is a Japanese novelist. Biography Shūichi Yoshida was born in Nagasaki, and studied Business Administration at Hosei University. He won the Bungakukai Prize for New Writers in 1997 for his story "Saigo no Musuko", and the Akutagawa Prize in 2002 (the fifth time he'd been nominated for the prize) for "Park Life". In 2002 he also won the Yamamoto Shūgorō Prize for ''Parade'', and for winning both literary and popular prizes Yoshida was seen as a crossover writer, like Amy Yamada or Masahiko Shimada. In 2003 he wrote lyrics for the song "Great Escape" on Tomoyasu Hotei's album, 'Doberman'.
