''The Precious Seed'' (russian: Драгоценные зёрна) is a 1948 Soviet drama film directed by Iosif Kheifits and Aleksandr Zarkhi. Plot To prepare the thesis, the young journalist is sent to the district. Here the heroine is to independently release several issues of the newspaper, get acquainted with new people, understand their actions and in themselves. Iosif Kheifits
Iosif Yefimovich Kheifits ( be, Іосіф Яўхімавіч Хейфіц; – 24 April 1995) was a Soviet film director, winner of two Stalin Prizes (1941, 1946), People's Artist of USSR (1964), Hero of Socialist Labor (1975). Member of the Communist Party of Soviet Union since 1945. Life and career Kheifets was born 17 December 1905 in Minsk. In 1927 he graduated from the Leningrad Technical-screen art, and in 1928 - cinema faculty of Institute of History of Art. In 1928, Iosif Kheifets came to work at the film studio "Sovkino" (now - Lenfilm Studio). In film, he first made his debut as a screenwriter, with Aleksandr Ivanov and Aleksandr Zarkhi he created the scripts for films "Moon on the left" and "Transportation of fire". Sergey Nikolayevich Filippov (russian: Сергей Николаевич Филиппов, 24 June 1912— 19 April 1990) was a Soviet and Russian film and stage actor and comedian, best known for his parts in films ''Adventures of Korzinkina'' (1941), ''The Night Patrol'' (1957) and the adaptation of Ilf and Petrov's classic ''The Twelve Chairs'' (1971), which granted him the People's Artist of the RSFSR title in 1974. Biography Filippov was born in Saratov. His father was a factory turner, his mother a dressmaker. Expelled from school for bad behaviour (involving, reportedly, dangerous experiments in the cabinet of a chemistry teacher), he tried several jobs (a baker’s boy, a carpenter, a turner) before joining a ballet studio, which in 1929 sent him to Moscow for further education. Tatyana Ivanovna Pelttser (russian: Татья́на Ива́новна Пе́льтцер; german: Tatjana Peltzer; June 6, 1904 in Moscow – July 16, 1992 in Moscow), was a Soviet and Russian theater and film actress. People's Artist of the USSR (1972). Tatyana Ivanovna Pelttser (or Peltzer) born into the family of the well-known actor Ivan Pelttser first took the stage at the age of nine. The paternal family came from cloth manufacturer Napoléon Peltzer (1802-1889) from Stolberg in the Rhineland, who emigrated to Russia in 1821. Tatyana's mother Esfir (Ester) Borukhovna Roizen (1884-1962) came from a Jewish-Ukrainian family. After marriage, Esfir converted to the Russian Orthodox faith and adopted the first name Yevgeniya.
