The Power (2021 Indian Film)
''The Power'' is a 2021 Indian Hindi-language action thriller film written and directed by Mahesh Manjrekar. It stars Vidyut Jammwal, Shruti Haasan, Zakir Hussain, Prateik Babbar, Sachin Khedekar and Jisshu Sengupta. The film was released on the online streaming service Zee Plex on 14 January 2021. The film received mixed reviews from critics, who praised the cast performances, action sequences and editing, but criticism for its pace, writing and direction. Premise An attempt is made on the life of a crime boss Kaalidas Haridas Thakur, who refuses to strike a deal. Mahesh Manjrekar
Mahesh Vaman Manjrekar (Marathi pronunciation: Help:IPA/Marathi, [məɦeːʃ maːɲd͡zɾekəɾ]; born 16 August 1958) is an Indian actor, film director, screenwriter and producer who works primarily in Hindi films, alongside Marathi language, Marathi, Telugu language, Telugu and Bhojpuri cinema, Bhojpuri films. He is credited with directing the critically acclaimed films ''Vaastav: The Reality'' (1999), ''Astitva'' (2000) and ''Viruddh, Viruddh... Family Comes First'' (2005). He has won a National Film Awards, National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Marathi for Astitva and two Star Screen Awards. Salil Ankola
Salil Ashok Ankola (; born 1 March 1968) is a former international cricketer who played one Test match and 20 One Day Internationals (ODIs) from 1989 to 1997 for India. A right-arm fast-medium bowler, he played first-class cricket for Mumbai, regularly opening the bowling. Ankola's consistency for Mumbai team earned him a spot for representing India during their tour of Pakistan in 1989–90. After the first Test match at Karachi, he was dropped for the subsequent matches in the series owing to injuries. After a brief phase of playing first-class cricket, Ankola was called for the Indian ODI team during 1993, eventually led to being a part of the 1996 Cricket World Cup. Salim–Sulaiman
Salim–Sulaiman is an Indian score composer duo consisting of siblings Salim Merchant and Sulaiman Merchant. The duo compose music predominantly for Hindi films. Life and early career Salim–Sulaiman's ancestral town is Mundra, Kutch, Gujarat. They were born in Mumbai. Salim Merchant was born on 3 March 1974 and Sulaiman Merchant was born on 21 December 1970.
